How will you make an impact?
Lead a team of Technical Sales Specialists to drive revenue growth and market expansion for Thermo Fisher Scientific's innovative product portfolio. As Director of Product Specialists, you'll develop and implement strategic commercial initiatives while building strong customer relationships and cross-functional collaboration. Support scientific advancement by leading technical sales teams that help customers address complex challenges in healthcare, research, and applied markets. Create a culture of excellence through mentoring, coaching, and developing talent while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business growth.
How will you get here?

Education
• Master's Degree plus 12 years of progressive sales experience in life sciences, analytical instruments, or related industries
• Preferred Fields of Study: Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related scientific field

Experience
• 5+ years of successful sales management experience leading technical teams
• Deep technical knowledge of relevant product portfolios and applications in assigned business area
• Demonstrated success meeting revenue growth targets and expanding market share

• Strong execution rigor (Std. Work, Metrics, Results-orientation)
•  Experience building and leading effective teams in matrix organizations
• Strong strategic planning and business acumen with P&L management experience
• Outstanding presentation and communication skills with ability to influence at all levels
• Experience with CRM systems, funnel management and data-driven sales methodologies
• Demonstrated success in developing and executing commercial strategies
• Strong customer relationship management and consultative selling abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate across global functions including R&D, marketing, and operations
• Strong coaching and mentoring skills to develop sales talent
• Ability to travel up to 50% domestically and internationally
• Adaptable professional who succeeds in dynamic environments

Compensation and Benefits

The salary range estimated for this position based in California is $166,800.00–$250,200.00.

This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy. We offer a comprehensive Total Rewards package that our U.S. colleagues and their families can count on, which includes:
