Position Overview:
The Director of Product Marketing will lead the go-to-market strategy and execution for Miovision's suite of traffic solutions. They will be responsible for understanding market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes to position our products effectively and drive revenue growth. They will collaborate cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing communications teams to develop and deliver compelling messaging and campaigns.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute product marketing strategies that align with overall business objectives.
- Strong positive sense of urgency coupled with adaptability and flexibility.
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities and inform product positioning.
- Create compelling product messaging and value propositions that resonate with target audiences.
- Develop and deliver sales enablement tools, including presentations, case studies, and training materials.
- Plan and execute product launches, including pre-launch activities, launch events, and post-launch follow-up.
- Collaborate with marketing communications to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns.
- Track and analyze product marketing metrics to measure effectiveness and optimize performance.
- Serve as a product expert and evangelist, representing Miovision at industry events and customer meetings.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in product marketing.
- Understand the layers of our system, what we provide, and what partners provide, including ATC standards and key API calls.
- Help put information into a form that could be shared externally.
- Collaborate with product management and engineering on the technical architecture related to controller partnerships and integrations.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or a related field; MBA preferred.
- Proven experience in product marketing, preferably in the technology or transportation industry.
- Strong understanding of marketing principles, including market research, segmentation, targeting, and positioning.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute successful product marketing strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to track and measure results.
- Experience working cross-functionally with product management, sales, and marketing communications teams.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Familiarity with ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and traffic management solutions is a plus.
- Understanding of ATC standards like ATC5201 and ATC5401 is a plus.
