Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a high-impact, strategic Director, Product Marketing Manager (PMM) to drive market adoption for our AI-native mobile security, continuous privacy compliance, and mobile risk intelligence solutions.

As a key pillar of our dynamic marketing team, you will bridge technical innovation and commercial execution by translating cutting-edge mobile security and AI threat detection capabilities into compelling value propositions for enterprise buyers. Partnering closely with Product Management, Sales, and Customer Success, you will lead end-to-end Go-To-Market (GTM) strategies across the entire customer lifecycle, driving pipeline creation, competitive differentiation, and net-retention growth.

What You’ll be Doing:

  • NPI & Product Alignment: Partner closely with Product Management to define GTM strategies, tier-based launch plans, and target buyer personas for all New Product Introductions (NPI), including AI-native threat detection, automated privacy attestations (Apple/Google), and MCP/agentic DevSecOps integrations.
  • Competitive Intelligence & Win/Loss: Systematically track competitive dynamics, analyze market shifts, and lead rigorous win/loss analyses. Turn unstructured tribal knowledge into actionable battlecards, counter-positioning, and deal-winning insights.
  • Sales & Partner Enablement: Build high-converting, modern sales collateral (pitch decks, solution briefs, ROI calculators, interactive demos, and battlecards) to empower our direct enterprise sales team and channel partners throughout the sales cycle.
  • Customer Lifecycle & Expansion: Collaborate with Customer Success and Account Management to create adoption, cross-sell, and upsell collateral that communicates ongoing platform value, highlights new risk intelligence, and directly supports renewals.
  • Mobile Risk & AI Research: Leverage insights from the industry’s largest repository of Mobile Application Risk Intelligence (MARI) to publish benchmark reports, industry trends, and thought-leadership content.
  • Analyst & Community Engagement: Manage relationships with key industry analysts (Gartner, IDC, Forrester) and standards bodies (OWASP, ADA MASA) to ensure top-tier positioning and briefing execution.
  • Technical Content Creation: Plan and author targeted content tailored to CISOs, Mobile AppSec engineers, and Developers, including whitepapers, blog posts, webinars, and customer success stories.
  • Cross-Functional Leadership: Serve as a core connector across Product Management, Threat Research, Revenue, and Customer Success to keep positioning aligned from first touch through renewal.

Skills and Experience Needed for Success:

  • Experience: 5+ years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience, with a proven track record in cybersecurity, mobile AppSec, enterprise software, or DevSecOps.
  • Lifecycle & Launch Expertise: Demonstrated track record leading end-to-end product launches alongside Product Management, as well as developing enablement programs that drive expansion and retention.
  • Technical Fluency: Ability to translate complex technical concepts (e.g., dynamic/static analysis, SDK privacy manifests, AI/LLM components, CI/CD integrations) into clear, value-driven messaging for diverse personas.
  • Market Intelligence & Research: Proven track record conducting primary/secondary research, win/loss interviews, and competitive analysis to shape messaging.
  • Exceptional Storytelling: Outstanding written, verbal, and visual communication skills with a portfolio demonstrating high-quality positioning and collateral.
  • Agile Execution: Ability to prioritize effectively, manage cross-functional initiatives, and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth tech environment.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
