Clarify is looking for a Director of Product Management to help build and deliver impactful products used by healthcare providers and payer customers. This position is ideal for individuals with experience in consulting, product management, and/or healthcare data analysis who are looking to transition into a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and mission-driven environment.

The role

  • Driving the strategy for our products in the growth and price transparency arena
  • Leading new product feature development from concept to release and ongoing support, with a particular emphasis on generative AI for insight delivery
  • Building and maintaining the roadmap for multiple major feature areas, ensuring integration and scalability across solutions.
  • Defining user requirements in executable detail, ensuring alignment across product, customer, and engineering teams.
  • Driving product release planning, sprint prioritization, and release management processes, including QA testing and data validation.
  • Leading product launches and enabling internal stakeholders (sales, customer success, marketing) to bring new capabilities to market.
  • Acting as the expert on how features work together across the platform to bring value to customers.
  • Ensuring streamlined operations through consistent stakeholder engagement and clear documentation of requirements and resources.
  • Prioritizing work with commercial, customer, and technical stakeholders while balancing trade-offs.
  • Researching the external landscape and conducting expert interviews to inform the development of differentiated offerings.
  • Partnering closely with engineering and design teams to deliver intuitive, high-value products.
  • Proactively building productive internal and external working relationships.
  • Serving as an SME supporting implementation, customer success, and commercial teams on client calls when necessary.
  • Building and maintaining standard dashboards and reporting frameworks at scale across product offerings.
  • Driving product design and user research in partnership with the design team.
  • Working with product marketing to define GTM positioning, competitive differentiation, and customer-facing content (case studies, blogs, white papers, videos).
  • Managing cross-functional alignment for complex integrations, including APIs and external system connectivity (e.g., Salesforce).

What we are looking for

  • A strong commitment to Clarify’s mission and improving healthcare delivery.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; advanced degree (MBA, MHA) preferred.
  • 8+ years of relevant work experience (e.g., product management, consulting, healthcare analytics/technology).
  • Experience working with payer, provider, MSO, digital health, or employer customers.
  • Deep understanding of healthcare data, with exposure to claims, eligibility, encounters, and value-based care analytics.
  • Technical fluency with SQL for querying large healthcare datasets and comfort with JSON-based tools and APIs.
  • Experience with data validation, ETL logic, and ensuring interoperability across systems.
  • Strong data-driven problem-solving skills with the ability to distill critical insights from complex datasets.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into clear technical specifications for engineering teams.
  • Demonstrated leadership, flexibility, and adaptability in ambiguous environments.
  • High attention to detail, with the ability to produce clean, high-quality analysis and documentation.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills across technical and commercial teams.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
