About Doctronic

Doctronic is pioneering the future of AI-powered healthcare. We provide 24/7 instant access to trusted, research-backed AI doctors and telehealth physicians, helping millions get fast answers and convenient treatment completely online. We blend top-tier technology with limitless patience for patients.

The Role

We’re seeking a high-output, campaign-savvy Director of Marketing Strategy to lead Doctronic’s in-house creative group and performance campaign planning function. This role is a hybrid between performance growth strategist, creative leader, and campaign GM — and will work closely with our CMO, media buyers, CRO, influencer lead, and community team.

You'll lead and scale a lean, multi-functional team (internal + agency) across campaign development, social content, production creative, and outbound experimentation. The ideal candidate has a performance-first mindset, fluency in 360° campaign cycles, and enough hands-on media experience to know what actually scales.

Key ResponsibilitiesCampaign Strategy & Planning
  • Architect full-funnel 360° marketing campaigns across paid, organic, community, UGC, and partnerships

  • Set quarterly creative priorities tied to growth objectives (CAC, conversion, retention, brand search)

  • Own the strategic calendar of creative tests, social hooks, campaign sprints, and content waves

Team Leadership & Workflow Management
  • Manage a hybrid creative pod including:

    • FT Social Community Manager (day-to-day community engagement)

    • FT Social Outbound Specialist (creative outbound content engine)

    • Agency/Contractor: Motion Graphic AI Design

    • Agency/Contractor: Static Creative + Landing Pages

    • Set briefs, timelines, and QA standards, ensuring high creative velocity and feedback loops

  • Note, this is suggested, we will build what you need or partner with what you want.

Performance Creative Ownership
  • Partner with media buyers to concept and iterate high-performing ad creative

  • Own funnel creative ideation: from first thumb-stop to final conversion page

  • Work closely with CRO lead and landing page designers to sync messaging and structure

Measurement & Accountability
  • Track and report on campaign performance: CTR, CPM, CAC, ROAS

  • Work with data/analytics to ensure testing methodology, tagging, and insight loops are intact

  • Lead weekly standups and post-mortems to drive learning and scale wins

KPIs for Success
  • Maintain 1%+ CTR across paid social/video ads

  • Drive CAC below $80 for telehealth conversions
Launch 2–3 360° campaigns per month

  • Ship 100+ net-new ad creative tests/month

  • Expand content output across social, outbound, influencer, and owned channels

  • Improve creative velocity and cost-per-output month over month

You’ll Thrive If You:
  • Are equal parts performance strategist and creative operator

  • Have 8–10+ years of experience in high-growth DTC, healthtech, or consumer SaaS orgs

  • Have owned the campaign calendar before — not just executing but architecting cycles and themes

  • Have hands-on knowledge of paid media, especially Paid Social, Meta, TikTok Ads, Demand Google Ads campaigns, and short-form CTV

  • Have led hybrid teams or pods (contractors + FTEs) in a fast-cycle testing environment

  • Are passionate about AI, consumer health, and building smart, scalable systems

  • Have a background in agencies or internal growth labs (Motion, Mutiny, Thesis, etc.)

Preferred:
  • MBA or equivalent experience with both brand and performance marketing

  • Familiarity with AI creative tooling (Runway, Midjourney, ChatGPT, ElevenLabs, descript)

  • Experience running campaign sprints with Webflow, Figma, Slack, Notion, and Asana

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
