Job Title:Director, M & A Integrations - Remote

Role Overview:

Are you an M & A integration guru? Do you enjoy and excel at planning and driving integrations of smaller acquisitions? Do you enjoy and excel at managing 3rd party entities for larger acquisitions? The Director, M & A Integrations is responsible for defining and executing strategies to ensure McAfee maximizes the value of our transactions. This is a great opportunity for someone with solid experience in the consulting world who wants to join a larger entity and build something from the ground up.

The ideal candidate will be a player coach who can both drive the integration of small tuck-ins as well partner with external consultants for complex transactions. You’ll manages the overall process and be included prior to completion of the acquisition/merger and continue through to the final integration. You’ll collaborate with Legal, HR, FP&A, Engineering, etc. Your project management, integration of best practices, and problem-solving skill sets will be integral to your success in this role.

This role is remote (US-based) with travel to San Jose and Dallas hubs. We will only consider candidates currently in the United States and are not offering relocation assistance.

About the role:
•    Integration Strategy Development: Define and execute comprehensive integration plans, aligning with the overall corporate strategy and financial objectives
•    Cross-Functional Leadership: Lead cross-functional teams (Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Engineering, Sales, Marketing) to ensure seamless integration and minimize disruption
•    Due Diligence: Participate in due diligence processes to identify potential integration challenges and opportunities
•    Post-Acquisition Integration: Lead post-announcement integration activities: system integration, employee transition, and cultural assimilation
•    Risk Management: Identify and mitigate potential risks associated with M&A transactions, including financial, operational and legal risks
•    Key Performance Indicator (KPI) Achievement: Define, monitor, and ensure achievement of deal KPIs
•    Change Management: Implement effective change management strategies to minimize customer and business disruption and maximize employee engagement during integration process 
•    Communication: Ensure all stakeholders (executives, functional team members, external parties) are appropriately informed and engaged
 
About you: 
•    At least 10 years (we’d love more!) of experience in M&A, corporate development, or related field
•    Proven history of successful M&A integration projects
•    Excellent analytics skill set
•    Strong financial acumen and understanding of M&A valuation and financial modeling
•    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal) and the ability to disseminate information to all altitudes of the organization
•    Strong project management skills
•    Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
•    Proven competency to effectively interact at all levels across the organization, working to build and maintain successful relationships across all departments
•    Exceptional problem-solving abilities with a curiosity mindset
•    Strategic thinker and persuasive presenter
