BRIEF DESCRIPTION

BluSky Restoration is a full-service restoration contractor that specializes in the restoration of property damaged by fire, water, and storm. We are looking for a Director of IT Projects to own our core business application platforms: Salesforce CRM, Vista ERP, and our PSA job management solution. This position reports to the Chief Information Officer and leads the teams supporting each platform. The Director partners with business leaders through platform steering committees to define and execute the application roadmap, and owns hiring and people management for the teams that deliver it.


PRINCIPAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own the Salesforce CRM, Vista ERP, and PSA job management platforms, including delivery, system health, and vendor relationships
  • Lead business steering committees for each platform to define, prioritize, and execute the application roadmap
  • Own all hiring, staffing, performance management, and professional development for the Salesforce, Vista ERP, and PSA teams
  • Collaborate with the business development and Legal team to plan out and execute IT integration of newly acquired businesses
  • Creates detailed project scopes for development and QA
  • Define and execute SOWs with 3rd party software vendors
  • Oversee 3rd party development, testing, and cutover
  • Manage all project phases, including company-wide communication and training
  • Communicates project status updates in inter-departmental meetings and written updates
  • Work with project teams to document and track requests
  • Participate in regular meetings to discuss department-specific and companywide projects

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:

  • The Salesforce CRM, Vista ERP, and PSA job management teams report to this Director, including the IT Specialist and Salesforce Admin.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

  • 5+ years project management experience in an IT or software environment
  • Experience working in high growth acquisitive companies
  • Experience working in an Agile or Scrum environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to multitask, manage time, and shift focus based on changing priorities

EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience


TRAVEL:

Occasional travel. (Less than 25% of time.) Some out-of-area and overnight travel may be expected for training or meetings.
