Responsibilities:
- Investor Relations & Fundraising Leadership. Lead the firm’s investor relations strategy and execution across existing and prospective investors. Partner closely with the Founder & Managing Partner on fundraising strategy and investor meetings, while also owning independent relationships and driving conversations forward.
- Materials Creation & Meeting Prep. Produce and refine marketing materials, tear sheets, investment memos, and other presentations. Own preparation and follow-through for meetings with staff, clients, hedge fund managers, and other groups within the Clocktower network, ensuring every meeting is exceptionally prepared and executed.
- Relationship Management & Business Development. Serve as a primary point of contact for investors, responding to inquiries, coordinating diligence processes, and ensuring a high-quality investor experience. Build long-term relationships within the Clocktower network.
- Process & Information Management. Develop and maintain scalable processes, including relationship management, data rooms, reporting calendars, etc. Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all investor reporting and external commitments. Anticipate upcoming needs around fundraises, closes, conferences, and investor events.
- Events & Conferences. Lead planning and execution for investor meetings, annual events, and conferences. Ensure these moments are leveraged to strengthen relationships and advance fundraising and other strategic objectives.
- Ownership. Comfortable owning both strategic initiatives and detailed execution. Willing to take responsibility for "unglamorous" but critical work, with a consistent focus on quality and results.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of relevant experience in investor relations, fundraising, alternative asset management, private markets, banking, or a similarly high-performance environment.
- Demonstrated experience owning investor relationships and driving fundraising or capital formation efforts.
- Relentless attention to detail and a high bar for quality; someone who takes pride in delivering work that is consistently polished and accurate.
- Ability to bring structure to complexity: manage pipelines, prioritize effectively, and ensure commitments are met.
- Confident, credible, and relationship-driven; excited to be the external representation of the firm.
