As a Director, Go To Market, you will be a pivotal member of our leadership team that will be responsible for designing and implementing the global GTM Strategy for the Hootsuite platform. In this role, you’ll lead end-to-end product launches, define KPIs, and align go-to-market strategies globally to ensure successful product launches and sustained growth. You'll provide strategic insights, customer and market analysis, and thought leadership to shape product roadmaps and drive business outcomes.

You will develop compelling messaging and collaborate closely with marketing and sales to deliver impactful, differentiated product stories. Reporting to the Senior Director, Marketing Strategy, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, marketing, customer success, operations, and legal to execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies and enablement that drive revenue growth and market expansion.

This is a remote-first role, open to applicants located in provinces or states where we have legal hiring entities.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Provide leadership and direction to a global go-to–market team, including product marketing and revenue enablement professionals. Lead selection, coaching, mentoring, development, performance management, and all other people-management practices, including DE&I.
  • Define and oversee the execution of the global go-to-market strategy, structure and implementation process, fuelled by storytelling and customer references that are fully synchronized with business and revenue goals. Ensure effective and ongoing relevance in the market to drive demand generation and pipeline.
  • Direct the end-to-end product launch process, from planning to execution, ensuring smooth and successful introductions to the market.
  • Establish KPI targets for product marketing and enablement initiatives. Present to and obtain buy-in from senior and executive leadership on metrics and continuous optimization strategies and product evolution.
  • Provide thought leadership and guidance to identify opportunities, develop product roadmaps, analyze the competitive landscape, and understand customer needs in collaboration with market research. Deliver strategic analysis and recommendations to senior leadership to drive revenue growth and improved business outcomes.
  • Drive the development of compelling messaging and positioning that differentiate Hootsuite products/services in the market to enable all GTM teams to tell the most impactful product story. Oversee the translation of these stories into clear briefs for the marketing team and partner with campaign strategists to bring them to  life.
  • Partner with global product management, marketing, and sales teams to ensure alignment and seamless execution of global go-to-market and enablement strategies.

  

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

  • 15+ years of product marketing experience, including a minimum of 3 years of experience leading PMMs or GTM Managers. Proven track record of successfully designing, launching and managing GTM strategies for new products/services.
  • Strong knowledge of the B2B SaaS business model, technology industry and the business needs and challenges faced by customers in the Social Media Management space.
