Digital Marketing Manager
Full time Hybrid 

Summary of the role: This role offers the opportunity to drive impactful results for a leading D2C beauty brand. As the Digital Marketing Manager, you will oversee and optimize e-commerce initiatives, email, and SMS strategies to engage customers, increase loyalty, and drive conversions. You'll manage the brand's Shopify platform, execute data-driven marketing campaigns, and collaborate cross-functionality with developers, creatives, and leadership to enhance the user experience. With a strong focus on acquisition, retention, and lifetime value, this position combines strategic thinking, hands-on execution, and a passion for the beauty industry in a dynamic, founder-led organization.

Duties & Responsibilities

E-Commerce:

  • In partnership with key stake-holders plan, execute on and optimize the e-commerce marketing calendar initiatives & marcom programs that support the brands business goals.
  • Lead & implement customer marketing programs & e-commerce tactics to drive conversion, loyalty, and increased customer LTV.
  • Own e-commerce usability, A/B testing and technology roadmap.
  • Monitor, track, and analyze campaign metrics on ongoing basis.
  • Own day to day operations of the site: merchandising, content, promotions, UI, all Shopify apps and third party site functionality.
  • Identify and troubleshoot website bugs and constantly monitor website and data to drive improvements in the online shopping experience.
  • Work with a variety of vendors on .com set ups across multiple programs: subscriptions, loyalty, SMS, and more.
  • Strong Shopify platform experience required.

Email and SMS:

  • Develop and manage the email campaign schedule to support marketing campaign calendar, promotions, product launches, events, and lead nurturing.
  • Lead & execute on email marketing strategies with the goals of increasing list growth, customer engagement, conversions, lifetime value, and loyalty.
  • Drive continuous improvement across emails & SMS KPIs including deliverability, open rates, click-to-open rates, conversion rates, opt-out rates, and revenue.
  • Build and optimize segmentation and email/SMS content personalization strategies based on user behavior/intent, activity data, industry, and demographics.
  • Establish and optimize a testing agenda for A/B and multivariate testing frameworks for emails, landing pages, and other engagement points.
  • Strategize, execute, and analyze. Strong platform experience required.

Required Qualifications

        • 3-5+ years of e-commerce experience with Shopify or Shopify Plus, including preferred Shopify app solutions.
        • 3-5+ years of ESP systems experience, preferably Klayvio. Both email & SMS experience. 
        • Strong knowledge of analytics tools i.e. Google Analytics, ESP, and SMS reporting platforms.
        • Strong knowledge of best in class e-commerce end to end user experience & site optimizations.
        • Strong knowledge of best in class email programs & segmentation strategies as well as day to day ESP system operations.
        • You possess business acumen & you have used analytical, data driven approach to holistically assess and drive key company initiatives through e-commerce email and SMS tactics.
        • You have worked cross functionally with front end and back end developers, brand, creative, and operations partners.
        • You have developed e-commerce, email, SMS roadmaps that roll up to key acquisition, retention, and conversion strategies.
        • Knowledge of or ability to learn quickly third party solutions and apps.
        • Copywriting experience required for any digital marketing assets.
        • You stay on top of product category as well as e-comm/email trends and competitive landscape.
