A growing, multi-entity organization in the creative/agency space is seeking a Director of Finance to lead financial strategy, operations, and infrastructure across the business. This role partners closely with executive leadership to support scalability, improve financial processes, and drive data-informed decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee financial operations across multiple entities, ensuring consistency in reporting, policies, and controls.
Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
Provide strategic financial insights, scenario planning, and performance analysis to executive leadership.
Manage accounting operations including AP/AR, payroll, and month-end close processes.
Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and KPI reporting.
Support annual planning, including revenue targets, margins, and staffing models.
Ensure compliance with tax regulations and manage audit processes.
Partner cross-functionally with leadership to align financial strategy with business goals.
Build and mentor finance resources while improving systems and workflows.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
10-15 years of progressive finance/accounting experience.
Prior experience in a Controller or Finance leadership role.
Experience managing multiple entities and complex financial structures.
Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, budgeting, and internal controls.
Experience preparing board/investor reporting materials.
Background in agency, marketing, or media environments preferred.
Strong leadership, communication, and analytical skills.
