ABOUT THE JOB

The Director of Finance Integration & Operations is responsible for leading client invoicing operations while driving strategic financial initiatives across the organization. This role oversees the invoicing and finance team, ensuring accurate and timely billing processes, operational excellence, and strong cross-functional collaboration.

In addition to day-to-day leadership, this role serves as a key partner in finance transformation efforts, integrations, process redesign, and enterprise initiative execution. The Director will play a critical role in building scalable financial processes, improving workflows, and supporting organizational growth through strategic program leadership.

The ideal candidate combines strong financial and operational expertise with the ability to lead change, influence cross-functional teams, and execute complex initiatives in a fast-paced environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Finance Operations & Client Invoicing

  • Lead and oversee the client invoicing and finance team, including prioritization, performance management, and teammate development.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and compliant invoicing processes across clients and lines of business.
  • Establish operational controls, quality standards, and performance metrics to support billing accuracy and efficiency.
  • Partner with Client Success, Technology, and FP&A and Finance teams to resolve billing issues and improve workflows.
  • Support month-end close activities, reconciliations, reporting, and financial readiness.
  • Identify risks, inefficiencies, and process gaps and implement scalable solutions.

Integration & Transformation Leadership

  • Lead finance integration activities related to acquisitions, system implementations, organizational changes, and enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive process standardization, workflow optimization, and transformation efforts across Finance and cross-functional teams.
  • Partner with leadership to develop scalable financial models and processes that support growth and long-term organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with IT, Product, Revenue Cycle, and Operational teams on system enhancements, automation opportunities, and process improvements.
  • Support change management activities including communication, readiness planning, stakeholder alignment, and adoption strategies.

Program & Project Leadership

  • Lead and support cross-functional finance initiatives from planning through execution.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, risk mitigation strategies, and readiness activities for key initiatives.
  • Serve as a strategic partner across departments to align priorities, remove barriers, and drive execution.
  • Build reporting and governance structures to monitor initiative performance, operational metrics, and organizational impact.
  • Support executive leadership with insights, recommendations, and decision-making materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in finance or related field and a minimum of 7+ years’ experience in finance and/or accounting, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Six Sigma certification preferred.

Pay Range: $130,000 - $145,000/yr

The actual offer may vary dependent upon geographic location and the candidate’s years of experience and/or skill level. This position is also eligible for an annual incentive.
