Job Description:
The Director of Field Marketing & ABX, Americas is a strategic leadership role responsible for driving regional marketing performance across the Americas. This leader will define and execute a regional marketing strategy aligned with global objectives and local business goals, while championing Account-Based Experience (ABX) principles to deliver personalized, high-impact engagement across key accounts. The role requires a dynamic marketer with deep regional expertise, strong cross-functional influence, and a passion for data-driven decision-making. This position reports into the Vice President of Global Field Marketing, and partners closely with regional sales, customer success, and global demand program teams.
This leader will build a high-performing Americas field marketing team and scalable processes to connect global campaigns with local market needs, driving measurable business impact.
Key ResponsibilitiesStrategic Sales Alignment & Go-to-Market Leadership- Serve as the primary marketing liaison to regional sales leaders, jointly defining go-to- market strategies that align to regional growth priorities and revenue targets.
- Collaborate with Sales, Indirect Channel and Customer Success leadership on target accounts, pipeline goals, and field-led demand priorities.
- Ensure standards, planning processes, and performance measurement frameworks is implemented within the Americas team.
- Oversee regional and local field event strategy (trade shows, partner events, customer summits) and 1: few field activities (executive roundtables, account clusters) to accelerate pipeline.
- Partner with Sales, Inside Sales, Partner Marketing, and Customer Success to ensure consistent messaging, seamless handoffs, and follow-up coordination that maximize engagement and conversion.
- Capture customer and market insights from field programs to inform GTM, product, and campaign strategy.
- Execute ABX 1: few marketing initiatives to support Field Sales, Professional Services, and Partner Sales in progressing opportunities and extracting demand across products and ecosystem plays.
- Representing regional demand generation needs to Integrated Demand Program Leads to ensure regional priorities are reflected in global planning and execution.
- Own regional pipeline generation and acceleration goals, participating in regular pipeline reviews to identify friction points and deploy marketing interventions that shorten deal cycles.
- Manage global and regional budgets, ensuring programs meet pipeline goals and deliver measurable ROI.
- Identify performance gaps, regional variances
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Regional Field Marketing Managers.
- Foster high employee engagement and retention through coaching, career development, and recognition.
- 10+ years in B2B field or regional marketing with significant ABX experience; high- growth software/SaaS background strongly preferred.
- Demonstrated success in aligning regional marketing strategies with global objectives and local business goals.
- Expertise in ABM/ABX strategies, field events, and 1:few marketing execution.
- Experience with AI-powered marketing tools and platforms; ability to apply AI insights to campaign planning, performance optimization, and customer engagement.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring geographically dispersed teams.
- Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management abilities. Deep understanding of regional market dynamics and cultural nuances.
- Proficiency in pipeline forecasting, funnel metrics, and marketing attribution.
- Ability to define and measure KPIs and ROI for regional marketing programs.
- Comfortably representing regional needs in global planning and executive forums.
- Bachelor’s degree required, advanced degree in marketing, business, or related field preferred

In addition, as a part of our total compensation package, this role may be eligible for the Vertex Bonus Plan (VOB), a role-specific sales commission/bonus, and/or equity grants.
