Founded in 2000, FAM Brands designs, manufactures, and sells men’s and women’s sportswear and active wear apparel to major retailers, big box stores, and specialty boutiques across the country and throughout the world. Our portfolio of proprietary brands features Marika, Wildfox, Three Dots, and Balance Collection, while a partial list of licensing partners includes Orvis, Jessica Simpson, Eddie Bauer, and Woolrich.

With the capacity to produce over 75 million units per year, our mission continues to be making top-quality apparel accessible to everyone at an impressive value and an irresistible price.

That's the FAM Brands difference.

About the Role:
We’re looking for a forward-thinking, fashion-driven Director of eCommerce to lead our growing digital commerce business across Amazon, 3rd-party marketplaces (e.g., Walmart.com, Target+, Nordstrom.com), and our owned DTC sites. The ideal candidate blends deep fashion eCommerce expertise with an AI-first mindset, leveraging modern tools and data-driven automation to scale smarter, faster, and more profitably.

📍 This is a full-time, onsite position based in Bell, CA, with our headquarters relocating to Beverly Hills, CA in January 2026.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the strategy, execution, and performance management for our owned DTC sites, Amazon, and key 3rd-party fashion marketplaces.

  • Own the customer experience across all digital channels—including product discovery, site merchandising, content, UX, and conversion optimization.

  • Utilize AI-powered tools for content creation, personalization, predictive analytics, and merchandising (e.g., ChatGPT, Jasper, Klaviyo AI, Dynamic Yield, Feedonomics AI, etc.).

  • Drive customer acquisition, retention, and growth through omnichannel strategies—across email, paid social, search, marketplaces, and affiliate—supported by automation and real-time data.

  • Lead marketplace-specific strategies (Amazon Seller/Vendor Central, Walmart Connect, etc.) to grow share of voice, drive traffic, and maximize profitability.

  • Own the digital P&L, forecast sales, monitor KPIs, and make data-backed recommendations to hit growth targets.

  • Partner cross-functionally with creative, product, marketing, and operations teams to align brand vision with commercial performance.

  • Stay current on AI innovation, digital commerce trends, and evolving consumer behavior.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of eCommerce experience, with at least 3 years leading digital initiatives in the fashion/apparel industry.

  • Demonstrated success managing both owned DTC sites and marketplace channels (Amazon, Walmart.com, Target+).

  • Strong command of eCommerce tools (e.g., Shopify, Klaviyo, Google Analytics, Meta Ads) and AI platforms used in content, marketing, and personalization.

  • Deep understanding of fashion merchandising, brand positioning, and the digital customer journey.

  • Analytical and creative thinker with experience managing digital P&L and growth initiatives.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or fashion industry background a plus.

Preferred Experience:

  • Familiarity with tools like Salsify, ChannelAdvisor, or feed management systems.

  • Experience working with both premium and mass fashion brands.

  • Exposure to international digital commerce and localization strategies.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
