At Exactera, we stand at the intersection of human and machine intelligence, helping global enterprises transform corporate tax with AI-powered SaaS solutions. Backed by Insight Partners and Savant Venture Fund, with $100M+ in funding, we’re scaling rapidly — and we need a Director of Demand Generation & ABM to accelerate our next stage of growth.

Role Overview:

We’re looking for a strategic yet hands-on marketing leader who can design and execute demand generation strategies that directly drive pipeline and revenue. Reporting to the VP of Marketing, you’ll fill a critical gap in our lean, high-performing team by owning digital marketing, ABM, and demand generation programs that amplify Exactera’s AI-focused positioning and deliver measurable growth.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a lean environment — a builder who is both strategic and scrappy, able to develop the playbook, execute campaigns, and optimize along the way.

What You’ll Do:

  • Own and execute the demand generation strategy, driving pipeline growth through multi-channel campaigns.
  • Lead digital acquisition and ABM programs across Google, LinkedIn, 6Sense, review sites, and other platforms.

  • Partner with external agency to improve AI search visibility and optimize SEO.
  • Build integrated campaigns in partnership with content, events, and sales to accelerate deal velocity.
  • Test, measure, and optimize campaigns, ensuring marketing investment ties directly to revenue outcomes.
  • Leverage AI tools and emerging technologies to enhance targeting, campaign optimization, personalization, and reporting.
  • Manage agencies, tools, and vendors while ensuring strong ROI.
  • Work cross-functionally with Sales and Product to align messaging, target accounts, and campaign priorities.
  • Report on campaign impact, pipeline contribution, and spend efficiency using GA4, Salesforce, and Tableau.

What We’re Looking For

  • 8–12 years of B2B SaaS marketing experience, with significant focus on demand generation, ABM, and digital growth marketing.
  • Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable rolling up their sleeves to execute campaigns.
  • Strong expertise in SEM, paid media, ABM platforms (6Sense), and marketing automation (Marketo/HubSpot).
  • Proven track record of building programs that create pipeline and accelerate revenue.
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills; comfortable working closely with Sales.
  • Data-driven, scrappy, and energized by working in a lean team environment.

Why Join Us

  • Drive demand generation strategy for a fast-growing, AI-focused SaaS company.
  • Work in a lean, collaborative, global, remote-first team.
  • Competitive compensation & benefits (health, 401k, parental leave, generous PTO, Summer Fridays, and more).
  • Backed by top-tier investors, we’re poised for breakout growth — and you’ll be at the center of it.

What We Offer:
(The following only applies to US-based positions)
  • A collaborative team culture with opportunities for career development.
  • Ample opportunities to be recognized, build valuable skills, and grow your career.
  • Generous vacation policy, including paid parental leave and Summer Fridays.
  • Comprehensive health plans with FSA and HSA options.
  • 401(k) retirement plan.
  • Life and disability insurance coverage.
  • Supplemental benefits like a dependent care savings plan, pet insurance, will preparation, and an employee assistance program.

About Us:

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
