ABOUT THE POSITION
The Director of Data and AI Engineering is a key leadership role reporting into the SVP of AI, Data, and Operations. This role will be accountable for building, maintaining, and continually improving infrastructure, applications, and data assets to support data-driven decision making and automation throughout the enterprise. The role requires both high level leadership of the team and hands on development.
- Full-time W2 position, work core U.S. business hours in your time zone

- Travel is required for an all-company meeting, and may be required a few times per year for team or project meetings

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attract, develop, and retain top engineering and analytics talent
- Lead the creation of solution architectures that support data, analytics, and AI systems
- Implement and maintain best-in-class infrastructure to support data and AI
- Develop data pipelines leveraging Fivetran, Python, dbt, and Snowflake
- Build insightful dashboards in Tableau for stakeholders across the enterprise
- Leverage LLMs and related technologies to support fully automated agentic workflows
- Take accountability for the technical delivery of data and AI projects and programs
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or related field. Masters degree preferred
- 5+ years of experience managing data teams preferred
- Expertise in data warehousing and data pipelines. Specific experience with Fivetrain, Snowflake, and dbt highly preferred
- Extensive experience with data visualization and BI tools (i.e. Tableau, PowerBI, etc)
- Expertise in Python (including numpy, pandas, scikit-learn, and use of Notebooks), SQL, and AWS development
- Experience with LLMs, agentic workflows, and machine learning are highly preferred
- Understanding of customer and marketing data in a subscription based business highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to deliver large, complex data and AI projects in an agile fashion
- Deep understanding of data and AI governance principles
