This role is critical to how we engage strategic customers and translate their toughest challenges into future solutions. As Director of Customer Collaboration & Technology Strategy, you'll work directly with customer engineering leaders and internal technical teams to influence architectures, roadmaps, and investments. If you enjoy deep technical conversations, system-level problem solving, and crafting long-term partnerships, this role offers a rare opportunity to do all three.
Responsibilities:
  • Build and sustain engineer-to-engineer relationships with key customers as a trusted partner
  • Lead forward-looking technical collaborations to identify and solve complex, system-level customer problems
  • Interpret customer roadmaps and industry trends to define clear product and technology strategy implications
  • Serve as the voice of the customer in product definition, architecture decisions, and technology planning
  • Drive proactive technical ownership and consistent engagement across strategic customer accounts

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or comparable experience
  • Extensive industry experience in DRAM or advanced memory architectures with ideas shipped to production
  • Experience working directly with strategic or tier-1 customers in technical or systems roles
  • Strong ability to translate customer challenges into actionable technical and product direction
  • Excellent communication skills across technical and executive audiences

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Experience influencing product or technology strategy in a matrixed organization
  • Background leading cross-functional technical efforts without direct authority
  • Experience mentoring senior technical staff involved in customer engagements

The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:
$193,000.00 - $391,000.00 a year
Additional compensation may include benefits, bonuses and equity.
Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target base pay for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
