What You’ll Do:
- Creates and executes strategies that align with the Company goals for reducing costs and meeting company financial expectations, while managing vendor relationships
- Oversee and direct product costing and sourcing activities to ensure all financial goals and objectives are met
- Lead global sourcing strategy to ensure the aggressive savings targets set up by the Company and business needs are being met
- Identify and manage global sourcing strategies to establish and implement a sourcing strategy focusing on cost, quality, and delivery
- Conduct industry analysis to provide proactive insight into sourcing strategy
- Initiate, direct and conduct all activities relating to negotiating, evaluating, selecting, and implementing preferred supplier contacts
- Represent the Company and negotiate contracts with global suppliers which include negotiating price, capacity, terms and conditions in support of those agreements
- Act as the interface to supplier; ensure supplier development and partnership; and ensure that suppliers meet key requirements and obligations
- Provide overall direction for total system cost modeling and developing "should cost" estimates
- Identify and implement problem solving methods for cost control and improvement projects each year in partnership with factories
- Manage maintenance of a material cost library and implement tracking process for core commodity costs
- Manage Costing and Sourcing budget and budget setting process
- Mentor, train, and develop staff to facilitate effective performance across all phases of the sourcing and costing processes

Bring It!
- Minimum of 15 plus years of costing and procurement experience in the consumer products industry with a BS degree in Engineering
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically
- Ability to articulate points of view with executive management and execute plans when directed
- Global Sourcing experience a plus
- Minimum 10 years supervisory experience
- Utilize project management skills to manage projects, develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and communicate associated risks to peers and management
- Experience working with cross-functional teams managing multiple projects
- Superior problem solving and interpersonal communication skills with a proven ability to be an extremely flexible team member that can meet deadlines and excel in a fast-paced, demanding environment
- Must have excellent time management skills and be able to work effectively with little management oversight
- 20% plus international travel required

Salary range: $ 175,000 - $200,000
