Leidos Office of the Chief Information Officer is seeking a Director of Collaboration Services. This position offers full time telework.

The Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) reports into the Digital Modernization Sector and collaborates across organizational lines to deliver effective enabling digital capabilities to our global employee base. The OCIO team develops, deploys, and manages innovative digital capabilities leveraging industry-leading partnerships and cost-effective deployment and management models.   The OCIO is seeking leaders to drive efficient capability delivery and management, more opportunities for innovation, and facilitate data-driven decisions across the enterprise

This position is to lead our Collaboration Services team to design, configure and support a wide variety of collaboration tools for Leidos Enterprise systems and applications including M365 (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint etc.), Telephony, Vimeo, and Prism development/support. The team combines technical excellence with deep industry knowledge to strategize, design and configure large scale deployments to all Leidos Enterprise users.  The role will also assist in building a strategic roadmap and strategize the future direction of these capabilities for broad adoption.

To excel in this role, you should possess strong technical knowledge across various architectural domains, such as application architecture, infrastructure, data, and security. Additionally, communication, stakeholder management, and project management skills are crucial for collaborating with diverse teams and driving successful outcomes.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and grow a services-based, platform configuration and integration focused organization that balances technology modernization with cost efficiency 

  • Lead and influence cross functional teams in strategic design, configuration and support of the full suite of M365 offerings including Teams, Exchange, SharePoint. Licensing Service Centers and more

  • Lead and influence cross functional teams in strategic design, configuration and support of the Telephony across the enterprise including managing Service Centers, Circuit deliveries and deployments

  • Lead and influence cross functional teams in strategic design, configuration and support of of our intranet (PRISM) to include the development of the backend platform.

  • Manage vendor and business technology team relationships to establish technical roadmaps and establish year over year priorities and budget planning

  • Possess and foster a fundamental knowledge of Telephony, Exchange, Teams, SharePoint or any other M365 based enterprise offering

  • Update and continuously manage a clear service catalog of offerings, to best facilitate our global employees’ work and enhance productivity 

  • Drive continuous improvement in project / tool delivery with an increased focus on user experience

  • Identify opportunities to reduce technical sprawl, including technology for retirement 

  • Evaluate new technology, partners, and capabilities for integration into our service catalog along with architects and other enterprise application directors.

  • Develop an outcome-based culture and cultivate and reward high performing teams 

  • Work collaboratively with Digital Transformation & Business Enablement team to develop, codify, and test Customer Zero opportunities 

  • Identify and drive productivity- and cost-efficiency-driving KPI’s

  • Contribute to the CIO strategic roadmap of progressive opportunities for modernization, innovation, and system retirement 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology related field and 12+ years of experience in IT management.  Additional years of relevant experience, training, and/or professional certifications will be considered in lieu of a degree.

  • 6+ years of experience leading teams or IT projects with demonstrated competency in the full range of stakeholder management

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

  • Demonstrable experience leading geographically-dispersed technical teams through large scale organizational change 

  • Demonstrable experience developing and executing a strategic vision through to deliver capabilities to an enterprise 

  • Technical knowledge of at least one of the following domains: Exchange, Teams, SharePoint or Telephony

  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills to work closely with numerous stakeholders from diverse organizations.

  • Experience with successfully managing P&L responsibilities 

Preferred Qualifications

  • Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD clearance.

  • Engineering background with MBA.

Pay Range:Pay Range $148,850.00 - $269,075.00

The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
