Position Overview

The Client Success Director serves as a strategic leader dedicated to ensuring exceptional onboarding experiences and sustained success for high-value clients. This role is instrumental in shaping and executing a comprehensive customer success strategy that strengthens partnerships and drives measurable outcomes.

Reporting to the Vice President of Client Success, the Client Success Director will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including Product Development, Integration and Onboarding, Marketing, and Client Relations—to deliver seamless client experiences, foster long-term relationships, and maximize client engagement and retention.

This position offers a unique opportunity to influence organizational growth by championing client-centric initiatives, optimizing processes, and serving as a trusted advisor to strategic partners. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with a passion for delivering value and driving results.


Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership

  • Drive the vision for key clients success by developing and executing strategies that align with company objectives and deliver measurable impact.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement initiatives that elevate the experience of our most strategic clients.

Collaboration

  • Act as the central connector across Sales, Product Development, Onboarding, Marketing, and other teams to ensure seamless communication and flawless execution.
  • Serve as the voice of the customer internally, championing insights and feedback to influence product and service enhancements.

Customer Experience Optimization

  • Continuously refine every client touchpoint to create an exceptional experience that fosters loyalty and long-term partnerships.
  • Collaborate with key clients to build clear, actionable roadmaps that define shared success and future growth.

Customer Advocacy

  • Cultivate strong advocates among our client base to amplify brand reputation and support marketing and sales initiatives.
  • Showcase client success through impactful testimonials, case studies, and stories that highlight the value we deliver.

Customer Retention and Expansion

  • Design and implement strategies to minimize churn and maximize retention, ensuring clients see ongoing value.
  • Identify and pursue opportunities for upselling and cross-selling, leveraging consultative approaches to uncover solutions with enterprise-level potential.

Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Harness data and analytics to track KPIs, measure success, and inform strategies that continuously improve client satisfaction and business outcomes.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven Expertise: 8–10+ years of experience in partner management, strategic partnerships, channel sales, client success, or similar leadership roles.
  • Executive Presence: Ability to communicate and influence effectively at the C-Suite level.
  • Exceptional Communicator: Outstanding verbal, written, and presentation skills that inspire confidence and clarity.
  • Strategic Thinker & Organizer: Strong project management and organizational capabilities to drive complex initiatives forward.
  • Account Growth Specialist: Skilled in account strategy, planning, and relationship development with a track record of expanding existing accounts.
  • Collaborative Leader: Adept at working across cross-functional teams to deliver seamless client experiences.
  • Data-Driven Decision Maker: Experienced in developing, managing, and reporting KPIs to measure success and inform strategy.
  • Consultative Approach: Ability to identify new solutions and opportunities that create enterprise-level impact.
