Job description.

We’re looking for a Director of Client Partnership who has led the design and delivery of digital products across complex, multi-stakeholder organizations. This person should bring deep experience managing cross-functional teams (strategy, UX, visual design, and engineering) and partnering with clients to define, shape, and scale user-centered digital products and experiences that drive business impact.

They’ll be responsible for owning strategic client relationships, guiding the vision and execution of digital products, and ensuring exceptional delivery across engagements. This role combines strategic account leadership, design-savvy oversight, and the ability to grow and retain business by demonstrating tangible value.

What you'll be doing.

  • Act as the senior strategic lead on accounts, owning client relationships and serving as a trusted advisor.
  • Lead the design, development and delivery of digital products, managing work across UX, visual design, product strategy, and engineering.
  • Translate client goals and user needs into clear product roadmaps and engagement plans, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (strategy, design, product, tech) to deliver cohesive, user-centered, visually compelling digital experiences.
  • Identify and pursue new growth opportunities within existing accounts and lead strategic business development efforts.
  • Ensure delivery excellence: on time, on budget, and on brief maintaining profitability, client satisfaction, and quality standards.
  • Evangelize best practices in digital product design, from design systems and accessibility to research-backed decision making.
  • Serve as an internal leader helping develop talent, guide delivery teams, and elevate overall team performance.
  • Partner with finance and operations to manage SOWs, contracts, forecasts, billing, and collections.
  • Participate in recruiting, staffing, team development, and strategic planning efforts across the portfolio

What we'd like to see.

  • Proven experience leading digital product engagements for enterprise clients ideally spanning UX, design, and development.
  • Strong understanding of digital ecosystems including web, mobile, and omnichannel customer experiences.
  • Demonstrated success in growing client relationships and managing large-scale, multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Experience overseeing design systems, user research, accessibility, and visual design execution 
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills with the ability to influence senior stakeholders and motivate internal teams.
  • Deep business acumen: understands how design and digital experiences contribute to business goals and ROI.
  • A track record of mentoring teams, shaping delivery processes, and creating collaborative, high-performance cultures.
  • Comfortable operating in agile environments and contributing to strategic planning, staffing, and operational success.

This role is currently not available for hire or work in New Mexico, and Hawaii, USA.

The salary range for this position is as listed below. Exactly where a prospective employee will be paid within this range will depend on, among other factors, the actual salary ranges for current and former employees who are either currently filling a similar role or did in the past; the candidate’s depth of experience and qualifications; the level of specialization the role requires; budgetary considerations; the market demand for that role and the local market conditions that exist where the employee will be based. For current Huge employees, tenure will also be a consideration.
