Acting as a bridge between clients and internal teams, you’ll ensure that every client receives exceptional value from our products and services, while also identifying and capitalizing on new opportunities for growth. You’ll guide account planning, coach your team on strategic relationship management, and work cross-functionally with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to deliver measurable business impact for both MediaRadar and our clients.

Requirements

Qualifications:

What You’ve Done:

  • 8+ years of experience in client-facing roles such as Account Management, Customer Success, or Strategic Partnerships, with at least 3-4 years of people management experience.
  • Proven success leading client teams focused on account retention, revenue expansion, and relationship development.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise account planning, customer lifecycle management, and value-based selling strategies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Product, and Operations to deliver client outcomes and drive internal alignment.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM tools to manage account activity, track performance, and forecast outcomes.
  • Expertise in the Media Planning, Execution and Measurement process
  • Experience working with or in an Agency and an understanding of their workflows
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strategic mindset with strong problem-solving abilities and a focus on measurable results.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA or equivalent experience is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

What You’ll Do:

  • Team Leadership & Development: Manage, coach, and mentor a team of Client Partners, each responsible for a portfolio of client accounts. Support their professional development and help them drive meaningful client outcomes.
  • Account Planning & Strategy: Oversee and guide the account planning process across all client accounts. Ensure each Client Partner is aligned with strategic goals, retention targets, and growth opportunities.
  • Client Growth & Retention: Drive client success by developing and executing strategies to expand product usage, introduce new solutions, and increase account value through upsells, cross-sells, and renewals.
  • Internal Resource Mobilization: Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Data, Operations) to marshal the right resources at the right time in support of client goals.
  • Client Advocacy: Serve as the internal voice of the client—representing their needs and feedback to stakeholders across the organization to influence roadmap priorities and customer experience improvements.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Work closely with Sales and Customer Success leadership to build a coordinated approach to client engagement and lifecycle management.
  • Operational Excellence: Use Salesforce and related tools to manage pipeline, track client health, forecast renewals and expansion, and maintain accurate, up-to-date client records.
  • Ethics & Integrity: Uphold the highest standards of professional conduct and foster a client-first mindset across your team.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
