Key Responsibilities
  • Lead Redesign’s brand strategy and stewardship, ensuring a consistent and differentiated brand identity, voice, messaging, and experience across all internal and external touchpoints.
  • Own corporate communications and public relations, including company announcements, press releases, media relations, awards and recognition, executive thought leadership, and proactive opportunities to strengthen Redesign’s visibility, credibility, and reputation.

  • Lead content and editorial strategy and execution across sales collateral, articles, case studies, news stories, thought leadership, executive content, social media, and other marketing and corporate communications, personally writing, editing, reviewing or shaping high-priority content as needed.
  • Provide strategic leadership across creative and design, guiding creative direction, visual storytelling, graphic design, brand standards, and the development of high-impact marketing and sales assets.
  • Lead Redesign’s social media strategy and presence, overseeing editorial planning, channel strategy, content development, executive amplification, and programs that strengthen awareness, engagement, and thought leadership.
  • Oversee the company website and digital brand experience, including website strategy, design, development, content, optimization, and ongoing evolution.
  • Partner closely with GTM teams and executive leadership to translate business priorities, technical expertise, and market opportunities into compelling narratives, campaigns, content, and communications.
  • Define and track performance measures across brand, communications, content, social, and digital channels, using data and insights to evaluate effectiveness, demonstrate business impact, and continuously optimize strategy and execution.
  • Build and lead a high-performing function, developing team members while establishing scalable processes, governance, prioritization, and performance measures.
Qualifications
  • 8+ years of progressive experience across brand marketing, corporate communications, public relations, content, creative, or related disciplines, including experience leading teams and cross-functional initiatives.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and evolve a B2B brand and communications strategy across owned, earned, social, and digital channels.
  • Experience leading corporate communications and PR initiatives, including press releases, media outreach, company announcements, executive thought leadership, awards, and reputation-building programs.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, messaging, and storytelling skills, with the ability to personally develop high-impact content and translate complex business and technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives.
  • Strong creative judgment with experience guiding visual and written work across brand, content, social media, sales enablement, and digital experiences.
  • Experience within B2B technology, IT services, cybersecurity, professional services, or another complex solutions environment strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on execution, build scalable processes, manage competing priorities, and collaborate effectively with executives, Sales leaders, subject matter experts, and creative teams.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
