Job Overview

We are currently seeking an accomplished B2B leader to join our team as a highly influential Director. In this pivotal role, you will spearhead our rapidly expanding B2B sales channel at Bob’s Discount Furniture. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role ideal for someone with deep digital marketing expertise who also has the vision and drive to lead a business unit. 
 
In this pivotal role, you will serve as the GM of our B2B program—owning strategy, execution, and results across marketing, sales, and operations. You’ll build the marketing engine from the ground up, starting as the lead doer across digital channels, CRM, and content, while preparing the foundation to scale a team as we grow. 
 
In this role, you will take ownership of our B2B program, driving success in the social services sector and leading expansion into new verticals. By building a high-performing team, innovating, and implementing effective systems and controls you will establish Bob’s Discount Furniture as a trusted partner for organizations nationwide.

  • Marketing Execution: Be the hands-on architect of our B2B marketing program. Lead campaign strategy, SEO/SEM, CRM/email, content, and performance marketing to generate leads and grow share. 

  • Strategy: Iterate and execute the B2B strategy to drive growth initiatives; leveraging insights, innovative approaches, and cross-functional resources to identify and capitalize on new opportunities . 

  • People & Culture: Attract, develop, and retain top talent by providing coaching, fostering development, and creating clear paths for career progression. Build an inclusive, high-performing team committed to innovation and collaboration. 

  • Sales Operations: Transform the Sales CRM system into a growth driver by ensuring adoption, aligning processes, and leveraging insights to enhance pipeline visibility, forecasting, and client engagement. 

  • Sales Leadership: Lead the sales team through a culture of accountability, aligning initiatives with business goals, and implementing systems to drive performance and ensure scalability. 

  • Operational Excellence: Drive operational excellence by streamlining processes, leveraging data and technology, and ensuring operations stay ahead of evolving business needs. 

  • Client Collaboration: Collaborate with key clients to co-create value, drive innovation, and ensure the B2B program evolves to exceed expectations. 

  • Budget Management: Plan and manage departmental budgets to maximize ROI, prioritize high-impact initiatives, and support the company’s strategic goals. 

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with other departments to align operations and deliver a seamless customer experience. 

  • Market Leadership: Stay ahead of industry trends, positioning the program as a leader in the market and anticipating future needs. 

Preferred Competencies & Skills 

  • Expertise in B2B marketing strategies, CRM digital marketing in particular. 

  • 5+ years of sales leadership experience in a B2B environment, preferably within the retail or social services sector. 

  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends, identify growth opportunities, and make data-driven decisions. 

  • Proven track record of driving high double-digit sales growth and exceeding targets while optimizing expenses to drive profitability. 

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a passion for innovation and the ability to identify and capitalize on market opportunities. 

  • Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams to achieve outstanding results. 

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and relationship-building abilities.

Minimum Qualifications 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. 

  • 5+ years of B2B (business-to-business) leadership experience, preferably in retail or social services. 

  • 5+ years experience owning strategy, execution, and results across marketing, sales, and operations. 

  • Proven track record in sales growth and sales leadership. 

  • Deep, hands-on marketing experience, specifically digital marketing. 

  • Experience handling CRM strategy. 
     

Physical Demands 

  • Standard office and remote work environment; occasional travel may be required. 

 

Expected Base Pay Not Including Potential Commissions, Incentive, Bonus, etc. Opportunities:

130-150k base salary + bonus target
