ABOUT THE ROLE
We are hiring a Director of Analytics to build and lead the data and insights function for FOX’s new stand-alone streaming service, launching in 2025.
This role will focus on end-to-end subscription analytics, from acquisition and conversion to retention, churn, lifetime value, and pricing strategy. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver the insights that drive growth, optimize marketing spend, inform product decisions, and support long-term business planning. The Director will play a critical part in shaping the overall analytics strategy, while building out a high-performing team and collaborating with stakeholders across Product, Engineering, Marketing, Content, and Executive leadership.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Build the analytics vision, roadmap, and operating model for a brand-new DTC streaming business.
Define and oversee implementation of key metrics, dashboards, and self-service tools across business units.
Lead cross-functional efforts to measure and improve subscriber growth, engagement, churn, content performance, and monetization.
Partner with Engineering and Data Infrastructure teams to define data architecture needs and scalable pipelines.
Partner with Marketing, Product, and Finance to evaluate campaign performance, pricing tests, and channel effectiveness.
Deliver compelling, insight-driven reporting and recommendations to senior leadership and executive stakeholders.
Hire, mentor, and develop a high-performing analytics team across embedded and centralized functions.
Integrate third-party measurement sources (e.g., Nielsen) with internal data for a comprehensive performance view.
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
Experience in data analytics or business intelligence, with a focus on subscription or DTC businesses.
Deep understanding of subscription lifecycle metrics (CAC, LTV, churn, ARPU, retention curves, etc.).
Proven track record leading analytics functions and delivering business impact through data.
Advanced SQL skills and fluency in data visualization platforms like Tableau or Looker.
Strong experience working cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, and Finance stakeholders.
Ability to turn complex data into clear narratives and strategic recommendations.
Experience with cohort analysis, funnel reporting, and experimentation frameworks.
Executive-level communication skills, including the ability to distill complex analyses into actionable insights.
NICE TO HAVE, NOT A DEALBREAKER
Experience launching analytics functions in a start-up or zero-to-one environment.
Familiarity with customer data platforms (CDPs), attribution models, and cloud data tools (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery).
Experience in SVOD or streaming subscription businesses.
Understanding of sports, news, or entertainment performance metrics in a streaming context.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $128,000.00-214,500.00 annually. This role is also eligible for an annual discretionary bonus, various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents.
