We are currently seeking a Director of Data Analytics to join our rapidly growing team.


Compensation: $170,000-$200,000 annually, depending on experience.
Work Location: Irvine, CA- Hybrid opportunity available.


Responsibilities:

  • Position oneself to be the primary data analytics partner for marketing and sales.
  • Responsibilities span data science, business intelligence, and solutioning with data engineering.
  • Lead your team to track and guide business performance overall and intraday.
  • Provide a positive or negative alarm when operations change from the expected trajectory.
  • Identify the underlying drivers that are affecting metrics.
  • Generate content for weekly and monthly business reviews; have your team lead the meetings.
  • Share insights and analysis that exhibit concise storytelling with clear recommendations.
  • Conduct experiments using statistically sound methods in both design and measurement.
  • Modeling should accurately predict or score using an appropriate approach and confidence.
  • Make reports that are diagnostic in design and simple to use.
  • Create and deploy monitors validating the quality and integrity of data; own audits to remove errors
  • Stay current with the latest trends and developments in data analytics, marketing, and sales
  • Appropriately lead the prioritization, development, and accuracy of deliverables.
  • Promote and lead new and sustainable analytical capabilities.
  • Other duties as assigned.


Requirements:

  • Advanced proficiency with SQL.
  • Intermediate proficiency with a statistical language; Advanced Python preferred.
  • Intermediate proficiency with a visualization platform; Advanced Tableau preferred.
  • Proven leadership of others to consistently achieve a business-focused agenda over time.
  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Marketing and sales operations experience preferred, but not required.

 

Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field or equivalent experience.
  • Master’s degree is preferred.
