Hotspex Media is seeking a Director of Agency and Brand Partnerships to support the growth and expansion of our client and agency relationships within the U.S. This individual will play a key role in identifying new business opportunities, managing outreach and proposal efforts, and establishing long-term strategic partnerships across the media and marketing landscape.

Reporting to the VP of Business Development, the Director of Agency and Brand Partnerships will help position Hotspex Media as a collaborative and performance-driven media partner by building strong relationships with prospective clients and agency teams.

Hotspex Media is an independent advertising technology firm that develops, plans, and executes customized cross-channel media strategies. Our platform-agnostic approach allows us to focus solely on what drives performance for our clients. Whether working directly with brands, in partnership with creative agencies, or as a technology collaborator, we act as a true extension of our clients’ teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and manage a pipeline of new business opportunities across brands and agencies

  • Lead the end-to-end business development process from prospecting to closing

  • Collaborate with the VP of Business Development to align outreach strategy with company objectives

  • Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and introductory materials

  • Maintain accurate records and reporting within CRM (HubSpot)

  • Coordinate with internal teams on handoff and onboarding of new partners

  • Represent Hotspex Media at industry events and networking opportunities

  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and shifts in client needs

Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or sales, preferably within media, advertising, or ad tech

  • Proven ability to close complex deals and grow new client relationships

  • Strong understanding of the advertising and media agency landscape

  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders and decision-makers

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Proficiency in CRM tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or equivalent

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams

Compensation and Benefits
  • Base is $120-175k USD commensurate based on years’ experience. Bonus of up to 8% of net revenue generated based on the established target.
