About the Role
As Director of Strategic Pursuits, you will be a key driver of Highstreet’s growth strategy—leading the full lifecycle of capture efforts for high-impact opportunities. Your role will be instrumental in translating our industry-leading win themes and pricing strategies into compelling, differentiated proposals and oral presentations that clearly set us apart in a competitive and rapidly expanding market.
From opportunity identification through final submission, you will own and orchestrate the process, ensuring every proposal reflects the delivery excellence our clients expect from Highstreet. Your leadership will directly influence our ability to win and deliver strategic engagements that shape the future of our business.
What You will Do
•Lead the Capture Process: Own every stage of the proposal lifecycle—from market intelligence, RFP analysis, strategy development, and solutioning, through proposal writing, reviews, orals, and submission.
•Develop Winning Strategies: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to craft innovative, client-focused solutions that align with our strengths and strategic goals.
•Drive Proposal Excellence: Write, edit, and refine proposals that are clear, persuasive, and tailored to each client’s needs, ensuring our differentiators are strategically positioned.
•Orchestrate Team Success: Partner with business development, delivery, marketing and executive leadership to align pursuit efforts.
•Market Intelligence: Monitor industry trends, competitor activity and client priorities to inform capture strategies. 
•Champion Communication: Serve as the central point of contact for all capture activities, ensuring seamless information flow and alignment across stakeholders.
•Solutioning: Leverage your experience to design and articulate differentiated technical and business solutions that address client challenges and requirements.
What We Are Looking For
•Proven Experience: Demonstrated success developing proposals and strategies directly from RFPs is essential.
•Solutioning Skills: Experience crafting innovative solutions that address complex client needs.
•Leadership: Ability to build a high performing, agile team that can handle a growing volume of complex opportunities while maintaining quality and strategic alignment as Highstreet scales.
•Strategic Mindset: Strong analytical skills and business acumen to develop and execute winning capture plans.
•Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a talent for storytelling and persuasion.
•Collaboration: Experience working with diverse internal teams and external partners to achieve common goals.
•Public Sector Experience: Not required, but highly desirable.
