This is a remote position open to candidates residing in New York

What you'll be doing as a Digital Sales Director:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth
  • Identify and prospect new clients through various channels, including cold calling, networking events, and referrals leveraging a full suite of industry tools.
  • Continually build a deep understanding of client's advertising needs and provide scalable solutions
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients' digital advertising objectives and challenges and provide scalable solutions
  • Present and demonstrate our digital advertising solutions to key stakeholders, showcasing the Strategus value proposition and benefits
  • Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements, ensuring win-win outcomes for both the client and the company
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients post-sale, ensuring high levels of client satisfaction and retention
  • Conduct thorough needs analysis to understand clients' digital advertising objectives and challenges
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including account management, marketing, operations, and BDRs to ensure seamless pre and post sales process
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, technologies, and best practices to provide consultative advice to clients
  • Provide regular forecast of your business
  • Meet and exceed your individual revenue goals
  • Attend industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to expand your professional network and generate new leads
  • Plan travel to your assigned region to build deeper relationships and develop new accounts

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years demonstrated outside sales success in B2B sales within the digital advertising or media industry
  • 2+ years experience selling Connected TV advertising
  • Hunter Mentality with a proactive and results-oriented approach to sales, with a proven ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities through diligent prospecting
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas in a clear and concise manner
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients at various levels of an ad agency or organization
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills, with a focus on achieving revenue targets
  • Self-motivated and results-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and sales prospecting tools
  • Up-to-date knowledge of CTV industry trends and emerging technologies in the digital advertising space.
  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field preferred

We offer a base annual salary of $90,000 - $130,000, but that's just the starting point. This role includes uncapped commission opportunities tied to your performance, plus a full benefits package, because we believe in rewarding the people who help us grow.
