Position Summary

As a Product Manager in the CVS Data Organization, you will work in a fast-paced environment to direct and support the activities of a diverse group of professionals that are defining and implementing the ambitious data and delivery strategy across our suite of applications. This role will join our Interoperability and Clinical Data Repository (CDR) team where our vision is to “Empower the Healthcare Enterprise of the Future” by consolidating redundant infrastructure, enabling new, real-time and intelligent Healthcare Experiences and meeting our customers “where they are” on their clinical data products journey.

This role affords you the opportunity to be a part of the CDR’s transformative mission while simultaneously allowing you to refine and expand your professional skills by working alongside talented and passionate colleagues from diverse backgrounds.  Specifically, you will be expected work collaboratively across the Enterprise to understand our stakeholder’s needs for clinical data and to match those needs against the CDR’s suite of software and services. 

Your role on the CDR Intake & Consumer Experience Team requires you to be curious, customer obsessed and delivery-oriented, ensuring the continued satisfaction of our data consumers and their trust in our products. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with internal customers from our Aetna, CVS, and PCW business units to understand their clinical data needs and match them with the CDR’s services and software.

  • Document high-level requirements for “net-new” customer asks and present findings to CDR delivery workstreams and Data Engineering counterparts for roadmap consideration.

  • Collaborate with other Product Owners and Data Engineers to build estimates for customers and obtain funding to support building their features and functions into the CDR.

  • Partner with Enterprise Legal & Privacy teams to ensure that egress of data from the CDR conforms to internal and external obligations around the sharing of clinical data.

  • Obtain CDR-specific feedback from our customers using NPS surveys, 1:1 interviews and other conversational mediums to continually improve our services and software.

  • Ability to build, from the ground up, sales and marketing materials, white papers, and customer-facing documentation to help our customers better understand our products and services.

  • Gather, monitor and improve-upon key performance indicators tied to the CDR Intake & Consumer Experience practice (e.g., NPS, funding, completed requests, etc.).

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years' experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner

  • 3+ years' Agile experience

  • 3+ years' experience working with Clinical Data or Healthcare Data or in a Healthcare Vertical

  • 2+ years' experience with Business Analysis or related concepts

  • 2+ years' experience working in Account Management or customer-facing role(s)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills that can be used to inform technical and non-technical audiences alike at all levels of the Enterprise.

  • Demonstrated collaborative working style with the ability to lead and influence a diverse array of internal and external stakeholders.

  • “Customer-obsessed” attitude requiring timely follow-up, paired success and long-term relationship building.

  • High-level understanding of healthcare privacy concepts and data safeguards as they related to HIPAA, TP&O, “Minimum Necessary”, etc.

  • Good understanding of current and upcoming Interoperability regulations (ex. CMS 9115, 9123, etc.).

  • Good understanding of healthcare coding concepts and data (ex. FHIR, ADTs, CCDs, etc.).

  • Entry-level understanding of Consumer Experience-related concepts like NPS, customer feedback loops (ex. how are we doing?), etc.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required

  • Master’s Degree in a Healthcare-related field (ex. MPH, MPA, MIS, etc.) preferred

Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:

$101,970.00 - $203,940.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls.  The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.  This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
