Role Summary 

The Digital Product Designer joins the Enterprise design team to contribute strategy, experience, and visual design expertise to the development of an AI-Authoring experience. This role spans the entire product lifecycle from concept development to launch, ensuring that high-quality digital solutions unify form and function to meet business objectives and improve patient outcomes.  

Hierarchy 

  • Reports to the Practice Area Manager – Agency Services 

Primary Duties 

  • Creative Execution: Deliver exceptional creative solutions for the AI-Authoring platform, focusing on user insight and the "human element" of digital solutions.  
  • Design Systems: Utilize and contribute to component-based design systems, determining when to adhere to existing patterns and when to break constraints for innovation.  
  • Stakeholder Communication: Present and persuasively communicate design rationale to stakeholder groups at various levels.  
  • Strategic Storytelling: Apply a passion for visual storytelling through typography, motion, copy, and art direction to simplify complex ideas.  
  • Problem Solving: Identify and address user pain points to improve usability and overall product performance.  
  • Culture Contribution: Participate in a culture of critique, collaboration, and honest reflection to foster a learning and growth mindset.  

Requirements & Qualifications 

Required Education 

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Digital Design, Interaction Design, Visual Communication, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a similar field.  
  • Equivalent practical experience is also acceptable.  

Experience 

  • 7+ years of experience specifically in digital medium design.  
  • An exceptional portfolio demonstrating creative work across multiple projects, with a specific focus on interface or screen-based experiences.  
  • Proven experience navigating complex digital ecosystems and connected devices.  

Competencies 

  • Foundational Mastery: Deep understanding of type, grid, composition, and color.  
  • Accountability: High level of initiative and the ability to prioritize workload to deliver results efficiently.  
  • Collaboration: Ability to build strong relationships and effectively navigate conflict with peers and partners.  
  • Communication: Outstanding verbal and written skills to make complex ideas consumable for a broad range of collaborators.  

Physical Demands & Environment 

  • Standard Office Activity: Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and office equipment.  
  • Visual Focus: Prolonged periods of looking at computer screens. 
  • Communication: Ability to hear and understand spoken communications via remote tools such as video conferencing and phone.  
  • Repetitive Motion: Frequent typing, scrolling, and mouse movements.  

WORK ENVIRONMENT: 

  • Professional office or remote home-office environment.  

EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK: 

  • Full-time professional hours as required to meet project deadlines.  (EST Time Zone)

TRAVEL: 

  • Occasional travel may be required for team collaboration.
