Digital Media Strategist (Associate to Senior) – Hospitality Marketing & Advertising
Summary of the Role:

Join our Digital Media team and help drive performance and growth for leading hospitality brands across North America (NORAM).

As a Digital Media Strategist, you will partner with hotels and resorts to plan, execute, and optimize data-driven digital marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including Paid Search, Paid Social, Paid Display, Programmatic Advertising, Email Marketing, SEO, and Website Optimization. You will serve as a trusted advisor to clients, helping maximize Return on Advertising Spend (ROAS), drive revenue growth, and achieve business objectives through innovative digital strategies.

This role combines client relationship management, campaign strategy, performance analysis, and digital marketing execution. Depending on experience level, candidates may manage larger client portfolios, lead strategic initiatives, mentor junior team members, and serve as subject matter experts within the team.

This is a hybrid position and requires working from our San José, Costa Rica office 50% of the time.

In This Role You'll:
  • Manage and maintain a portfolio of hospitality clients across the North America (NORAM) region.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong and collaborative relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Develop a deep understanding of client business objectives and identify opportunities for growth.
  • Research, develop, and execute digital media strategies and advertising plans.
  • Identify target audiences and recommend campaign budgets, channels, and optimization strategies.
  • Plan, launch, monitor, and optimize digital marketing campaigns to maximize ROAS and revenue performance.
  • Conduct regular client meetings to review campaign performance and recommend strategic improvements.
  • Collaborate with Ad Operations teams through campaign onboarding, launch, implementation, and ongoing optimization.
  • Draft and review advertising copy and creative assets for client approval.
  • Manage campaign setup processes, tracking implementation, and quality assurance activities.
  • Support website user experience, content strategy, and SEO initiatives to improve overall digital performance.
  • Analyze campaign and website performance data, identify trends, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Ensure all campaign launches, renewals, and service levels meet established quality standards and SLAs.
  • Stay current on digital marketing trends, advertising platforms, and hospitality industry developments.
  • Support process improvements and contribute to team-wide initiatives.
About the Ideal Candidate:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Hospitality, Business, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Equivalent relevant experience may be considered in lieu of formal education.
  • 1–5+ years of digital media, online advertising, or digital marketing experience in a client-facing environment.
  • Experience managing digital marketing campaigns and client relationships.
  • Hands-on experience with one or more of the following: Paid Search, Paid Social, Paid Display, Programmatic Advertising, Email Marketing, SEO and Website Optimization
  • Experience using digital marketing platforms such as: Google Ads, Google Analytics, Meta Ads / Meta Business Manager, Other advertising and analytics platforms
  • Hospitality industry experience is preferred but not required.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide strategic recommendations based on performance data and business objectives.

  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and campaign performance optimization.
  • Ability to analyze data and evaluate key performance indicators such as ROAS, conversion rates, revenue, margins, and engagement metrics.

  • Strategic thinking and creative problem-solving abilities.
