Spring/Summer Digital Marketing Intern Job Description:
We’re looking for a motivated Digital Marketing Intern to join our team for Spring/Summer ’26. This role is ideal for someone interested in digital marketing campaigns, social media strategy, marketing automation and analytics.
In this role, you’ll work closely with a collaborative marketing team to develop and deploy marketing initiatives across digital marketing channels. You’ll gain real-world experience using modern marketing tools, tracking performance via marketing metrics, and helping drive measurable growth for a fast-moving brand.
Duties
Digital Content & Channel Execution
- Draft, edit, and format content for social media, email campaigns, landing pages, and blogs
- Create social graphics and light digital assets using Canva (or similar tools)
- Assist with publishing and optimizing content across digital marketing channels
- Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and messaging
Social Media & Community Management
- Schedule and publish content across platforms
- Monitor audience engagement and escalate as appropriate
- Research trends, hashtags, and competitive activity
- Support influencer identification and coordination
- Maintain and manage the social content calendar
Digital Marketing Campaign Support & Marketing Automation
- Assist in the setup and execution of digital marketing campaigns (organic and paid)
- Support email marketing efforts, including list management and performance tracking
- Coordinate approvals and ensure on-time deployment of digital marketing campaign assets
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track KPIs across social, email, website, and digital marketing campaign performance
- Compile monthly performance reports and dashboards
- Summarize insights and recommend optimizations based on performance data
Digital Marketing Operations & Cross-Functional Support
- Maintain marketing databases, trackers, and reporting templates
- Partner with HR to manage employer-branding posts (e.g., new hire and “meet the team” announcements)
- Assist in preparing marketing presentations and performance summaries
- Provide general digital marketing support as needed
- Currently enrolled for a bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or equivalent related experience.
- At least some professional experience and interest in AI related technologies.
- Can manage multiple projects at one time and high attention to detail
- Stellar communications and interpersonal skills.
- Seeks to initiate next steps without waiting to be asked.
- Familiarity with digital marketing tools/applications
- Experience with Canva or similar design platform/program
- Experience or willing to learn a marketing automation platforms such as Hubspot
- Basic understanding of digital marketing metrics (CTR, engagement rate, conversions, etc.)
- Must be eligible to work in the United States
- Remote position
- Start/stop date negotiable based on school schedules.
- This is a paid internship, hours not to exceed 20 hrs a week.
