Salesforce Architect
Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and strategic Salesforce Architect to lead the design, governance, scalability, and optimization of our Salesforce ecosystem and enterprise application landscape. This role will serve as the technical and functional authority for Salesforce, driving architecture decisions across Sales Cloud, Experience Cloud, Data Cloud, Agentforce, HubSpot, NetSuite ERP, DocuSign, Conga, SharePoint, xFilesPro, AWS, and other enterprise platforms.
The Salesforce Architect will partner with business leaders, product owners, developers, administrators, and third-party vendors to design scalable solutions that support customer lifecycle management, quote-to-cash operations, customer portals, enterprise integrations, AI-driven experiences, analytics, and digital transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will combine deep Salesforce expertise with strong enterprise architecture, integration, security, and platform governance capabilities.
Key Responsibilities
Salesforce Architecture & Strategy
- Define and maintain the Salesforce platform architecture, roadmap, standards, and governance framework.
- Lead architecture reviews and recommend scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions across Salesforce and integrated business systems.
- Develop enterprise architecture artifacts including solution blueprints, capability maps, data models, integration architectures, and technical design documents.
- Establish Salesforce design standards, development best practices, release governance, and technical debt remediation strategies.
- Drive platform modernization initiatives leveraging Salesforce Data Cloud, Agentforce, AI capabilities, and automation technologies.
Solution Design & Business Transformation
- Collaborate with business stakeholders across Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Operations, Finance, and Executive Leadership to understand strategic business objectives.
- Translate business requirements into enterprise-grade solution architectures and implementation roadmaps.

Salesforce Platform Architecture
- Architect solutions across:
- Salesforce Sales Cloud
- Salesforce Experience Cloud
- Salesforce Data Cloud
- Salesforce Platform
- Agentforce
- Salesforce AI Capabilities
- Define security architecture including profiles, permission sets, sharing models, data access controls, and compliance requirements.
- Design data models, automation frameworks, and scalable application architectures using platform-native capabilities and custom development.
- Guide development teams on Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), APIs, integrations, and platform best practices.
Enterprise Integration Architecture
- Design and oversee integrations between Salesforce and:
- HubSpot
- NetSuite ERP
- DocuSign
- Conga
- SharePoint
- xFilesPro
- AWS Services
- Other enterprise applications
- Define integration patterns, API strategies, middleware approaches, event-driven architectures, and data synchronization frameworks.
- Lead data mapping, master data management, data governance, and integration security initiatives.
- Ensure reliability, scalability, and monitoring of enterprise integrations.
Data & Analytics Architecture
- Architect enterprise reporting and analytics solutions across Salesforce and connected platforms.
- Define KPI frameworks, executive dashboards, and operational reporting strategies.
- Support customer, operational, sales, and financial analytics initiatives.
- Develop data governance practices ensuring consistency, quality, and accessibility across systems.
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Provide leadership and architectural direction to developers, administrators, analysts, and implementation partners.
- Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and solution assessments.
- Establish release management, CI/CD, deployment, and quality assurance practices.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, standards, and governance artifacts.
- Lead vendor evaluations and collaborate with Salesforce, Conga, DocuSign, HubSpot, and NetSuite support teams.
Project Delivery & Support
- Serve as chief architect for strategic Salesforce initiatives and enterprise programs.
- Support solution validation, SIT, UAT, production deployments, and post-production stabilization.
- Lead root-cause analysis and resolution of complex platform and integration issues.
- Ensure high availability and performance of the Salesforce ecosystem.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Salesforce consulting, solution architecture, enterprise architecture, or related leadership roles.
- 5+ years of experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
- Deep expertise in:
