Job Description


CoStar Realty Information, Inc. seeks a DevOps Engineer to design and develop automation for deployment, monitoring, and incident response. Develop and test disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity. Integrate with observability providers to ensure traces, logs and metrics are captured. Analyze performance metrics to identify bottlenecks and plan for capacity needs based on usage and growth projections. Monitor application uptime and SEO site performance metrics, including LCP, CLS, and INP. Respond to incidents, troubleshoot issues, and perform root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences. #LI-DNI

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related STEM field, followed by 5 years of progressively responsible experience with software design, development, testing, and implementation. Experience must include a minimum of: 5 years of experience with CI/CD and pipeline management utilizing Azure DevOps; 5 years of experience with Infrastructure as Code, including Terraform and CloudFormation; 5 years of experience with version control systems, branching, and pull requests in Git; 5 years of experience with containerization Technologies, including Kubernetes and EKS; 5 years of experience with AWS tools, including EC2, ALBs, S3, IAM, ASG, Lambda, Dynamo, Step Function, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch; 5 years of experience with observability tools in APM, metrics, logs, system vitals, synthetics, and RUM, including DataDog, Grafana, Prometheus, Icinga, and ElasticSearch; 5 years of experience with scripting languages, including PowerShell, Bash, and YAML; 5 years of experience with configuration management utilizing Ansible and Chef; 5 years of experience with networking concepts including DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP/S, TLS certificate, load balancing, and firewalls; 5 years of experience with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, Redis, DynamoDB, and Memcached; and 5 years of experience with programming languages and concepts, including Python, Go, and Typescript.

Job location: Irvine, CA. RATE OF PAY: $176,134.00 – $185,000.00 per year.
