• Provide remote technical support, incident, and problem management for Spacestation on the IL5 and IL6 instances, including software support, installation, configuration, error diagnosis, system status, and downtime procedures
• Support the PaaS Tech Lead by providing technical context and hands-on execution to the assigned project team and owning defined work items
• Collaborate with the PaaS Tech Lead, IaaS-provided personnel, and the Digital Engineering, AI, DevTeam, and CEM teams to support the customer mission
• Instrument Spacestation applications, servers, and systems on the IL5 and IL6 instances to pull in telemetry for actionable monitoring data
• Build usable dashboards from regular users to executives with actionable data
• Build tests for detection of issues to improve platform reliability
• Build scripts to load test the platform
• Maintain Kubernetes-based CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and infrastructure as code for the IL5 and IL6 instances
• Support of Database and API communication development activities
• Prepare technical documentation including standard procedures, reports, research and cost analysis
• Coordinate with IaaS-provided personnel on server, network, and application dependencies affecting Spacestation
• Assist the PaaS Tech Lead with projects from implementation through testing and production on the IL5 and IL6 instances
• Apply security patches, updates, and configuration baselines to Spacestation components in coordination with the ISSM and PaaS Tech Lead
• Support Atlassian and other custom applications hosted on Spacestation, including deployment and troubleshooting
• Support digital engineering and AI workloads hosted on Spacestation, including data pipeline and model deployment support
• Track platform issues and changes in the ticketing system, and escalate to the PaaS Tech Lead when they affect service delivery
• Make recommendations to the PaaS Tech Lead on platform changes, priorities, and risks
• Address the customer directly as a seasoned team member on technical questions, issues, and solutions
• Lead small technical efforts and mentor junior engineers on Spacestation operations
• Present technical solutions and recommendations to customers and stakeholders
• Lead customer-facing incident response for Spacestation, communicating status and resolution directly to the customer
• Coordinate across organizations to solve the most difficult digital thread and AI implementation issues
• Must be able to effectively communicate with users at all skill levels and document unique issues and solutions in a support knowledgebase or procedure/policy documents
• On-call, and evening or weekend hours will be required as needed for support and maintenance of the IL5 and IL6 instances

• Must be customer-service and results-oriented, an experienced problem solver who seeks assistance, when necessary, a self-starter with excellent oral and effective written communication skills, able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously, and an experienced decision-maker
• Able to work effectively on their own without direct supervision
• Able to work as part of a distributed team spanning multiple time-zones and regions
• 10+ years of experience with computer systems support, server installation and support, network administration, network installation, and monitoring/observability platforms. 
• Experience troubleshooting complex network and systems infrastructure issues
• Experience with enterprise level monitoring or observability platforms
• Experience monitoring user experience down to the click level
• Experience with Linux Administration
• Experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Podman or equivalent container and orchestration platform(s)
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (Helm, Ansible, or CloudFormation)
• Experience installing software, patches, and updates for K8s
• Experience operating production Kubernetes in multi-cluster or multi-tenant environments
• Experience with Active Directory and Windows Servers is a plus
• Experience with Platform One Big Bang, Party Bus, or Iron Bank (Preferred)
• Experience operating IL5 or IL6 environments (Preferred)
• Experience leading or mentoring technical teams (Preferred)
• Must have experience with scripting (Python, Bash, Go) for automation tasks
• Must have CompTIA Security + (CE) certification
• Must be able to obtain a Secret security clearance
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field 
• Experience in 2 or more of the following areas:
  • Experience with Cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services.
  • Experience with DoD-specific cloud platforms such as ARCUS, CloudOne, or PlatformOne
  • Experience with cybersecurity within the DoD
  • Experience with Docker or Kubernetes
  • Experience with Elastic SIEM offerings
  • Experience with jMeter or another load testing platform
  • Experience with Jenkins or another application testing platform

Compensation
Compensation will be determined in partnership with the Hiring Manager and may vary based on factors such as contract and labor category alignment, relevant experience, skills, education, certifications or licenses, and geographic location.
