The Role

The role requires originating bold concepts while working within brand systems. Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team and work independently with confidence. 

What You’ll Do
  • Take ideas from concept through final handoff alongside creatives, technologists, producers, and leadership.
  • Develop original design directions and refine work within established brand guidelines and visual centers.
  • Combine conceptual thinking with strong craft and attention to detail while being responsible for the completeness of your work.
  • Adapt to different brand styles and visual directions, spotting opportunities for unexpected interactive, environmental, or animation outputs.
  • Find outside inspiration, and bring new thinking and ideas into the studio.
What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Proficiency in Figma and/or Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Strong portfolio showing solid fundamentals, attention to detail, inventive design thinking and high-level execution in brand experience work
  • A collaborative team player that is highly motivated, pro-active and positive.
  • Excellent organization and time management skills to meet deadlines across multiple projects in a remote work setting.

The salary range for this position is starts at $60 hourly. Hourly rate is determined by a combination of factors that include qualifications, applicable skills, relevant experience and other budgetary considerations such as location/geography.

Hovercraft is a remote-first company, working primarily on Pacific and Mountain time. You must be eligible to work in the US as a 1099 contractor.
