We are looking for a creative and experienced Instructional Designer. The purpose of the Instructional Designer is to design and develop learning experiences that drives skill growth and sparks system engagement while supporting various programmatic needs for learning initiatives. The right candidate will work well under pressure, think out-of-the-box, and excel in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment.

 

Responsibilities

  • Design effective and dynamic learning experiences that utilizes learning science and instructional design principles
  • Develop various learning assets to achieve objectives; such as: ILT materials (PPTs, Participant Guides, etc,) vILT materials, eLearning, performance support tools (i.e. videos, infographics, etc.)
  • Design and develop evaluations to measure program and asset effectiveness
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and key stakeholders to scope initiatives, create learning objectives, define approach, and refrine project timelines to meet the needs of a fast paced environment
  • Work with various teams to gather insights to analyze program effectiveness
  • Manage the instructional design process from kick off, to needs analysis, to development, through implementation
  • Utilize instructional design methodologies such as ADDIE and/or Design Thinking to develop assets and achieve instructional objectives

REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design or learning experience design
  • 5+ years of experience utilizing instructional design methodologies and understanding of adult learners
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, along with strong editing and proofreading skills
  • Experience with visual design
  • Experience using eLearning development software such as: Storyline 360, Adobe Creative Suite, and Camtasia
  • Experience with webinar software like Zoom Video Conferencing for Training
  • Strong background in project management
  • Interest in program development with a blended model
  • Demonstrable portfolio that illustrates experience with designing and developing of learning assets

 

Bonus Qualifications

  • Masters degree in Instructional Systems, Learning Design, or similar field
  • 1-2 years of experience in live and online facilitation and/or program management
  • Technical writing experience
  • Experience with building learning content for the contact center industry
