Who We’re Seeking:

The Creative Studio at Omaze is responsible for delivering all of Omaze’s creative content including video, design, advertising and copy. The Director of Creative Operations will play a key role in managing the operations and logistics of bringing content to life across content creation teams.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Project management oversight/operations including developing, implementing and overseeing Creative Studio workflow strategy and project assignments in collaboration with the Head of Content and creative leaders
  • Proactively partner with cross-departmental teams on intake and delivery of all creative work
  • Attend project kickoffs, review briefs and ensure all information is present for projects to be completed
  • Lead the development and implementation of efficient workflows across the Creative Studio, including script development, design, copywriting, performance marketing, and video production/post-production
  • Oversee Creative Studio budgets to ensure on-budget delivery while maximizing ROI
    • Approve individual invoices and expenses across the team
    • Partner with key stakeholders to align on quarterly budgets
    • Identify cost-savings to help increase scale
  • Establish processes to help identify and deliver the timing, quantity, and type of asset required for each campaign and brand initiative    
  • Ensure asset effectiveness and general channel best practices are shared with the Creative Studio on an ongoing basis 
  • Partner with channel owners to consistently gather key performance data and report on post-campaign effectiveness 
  • Streamline process of identifying and managing roster of freelancers supporting internal content creation teams
  • Identify key opportunities to increase cooperation between Creative Studio functions and implement new protocols accordingly
  • Lead Creative Studio Operations team of Project and Production Managers with inspiration and motivation, while providing a positive work environment:
    • Share team goals, support individual goal creation, and monitor progress and performance
    • Develop and evolve team skillsets and capabilities
    • Build and support career paths for direct reports

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 10+ years of operations/logistics management in a creative field
  • Experience implementing systems and workflows that work for a dynamic editorial calendar with shifting dates and priorities
  • Experience managing and tracking budgets across multiple projects
  • Experience working with tight deadlines
  • Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office, especially Sheets/Excel
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Proactive approach to planning and working cross-functionally
  • You take your work seriously, but not yourself

Location

The office is located in Marina del Rey with easy access to plenty of restaurants. We are close to LAX, beaches and Marina.
