Who We’re Seeking:

The Omaze Creative Studio is searching for a Creative Director who has lived and worked extensively in the world of Houses. We are looking for a candidate who understands the uniqueness of creating dream-worthy homes and has worked on productions and/or marketing for houses with the portfolio to prove it. The ideal candidate has professional experience in the home and lifestyle space and is highly engaged in working with luxury houses and dream homes. This creative pro has the depth of knowledge and experience to lead the strategic vision that will bring Omaze Dream Homes to life in new and exciting ways.

The CD of Houses drives the creative vision for our Dream Homes and leads the development of marketing materials of every kind. One part visionary and one part guide, the CD makes sure team members: are inspired, work together collaboratively, deliver consistent and effective creative solutions, meet deadlines, and elevate the Omaze brand.

What You’ll Do: 

  • Establish the creative strategy for Houses across all channels 
  • Help shape content strategy with an emphasis on choosing ideas that work within time and budget parameters while still pushing the limits of creativity, connecting with intended audiences, and achieving key results
  • Act as the creative steward, ensuring consistent, cohesive content that adheres to the Omaze brand guidelines
  • Lead the creative direction of all marketing assets for Houses from inception to completion, providing creative approvals to ensure creative standards are met
  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to create consistent and effective photo and video assets
  • Partner with the CD of Performance Marketing to oversee design and execution of digital content
  • Partner with Performance and Integrated Marketing leaders to align on creative and distribution strategies
  • Partner with the Director of Content Development as a resource for the scripting/development of all video content
  • Partner with the Director of Content Production on the creative execution of video content, including development of set and locations, cast, production design, etc.
  • Oversee the creative execution of video post-production, including reviewing edits and providing feedback to editors with the Director of Content Production.
  • Build, improve, and evolve workflows and processes
  • Represent the Creative Studio cross-functionally on everything Dream Houses — this includes channel owners, Business Development, Merchandising, and Product
  • Act as creative lead and liaison to the leadership team in managing creative goals for marketing, brand, and revenue optimization specific to Houses
  • Lead and inspire team members while providing a motivating and positive work environment

 

Our Ideal Candidate: 

  • 10+ years of experience working in a creative field on Houses, with a focus on storytelling through content, marketing, advertising, and branding.
  • 5+ years of experience managing a multi-disciplinary creative team in an agency or client-side environment
  • Deep understanding of content and marketing channels, advertising, and direct response best practices
  • Entrepreneurial approach and can work in nimble and agile environments
  • Strong knowledge of pop culture is essential 
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and reciprocally with multiple departments
  • You take your work seriously but not yourself

Location

The office is located in Marina del Rey with easy access to plenty of restaurants. We are close to LAX, beaches and Marina.
