SUMMARY
Joining the Incubation Lab, you will be part of a design and technology team re-imagining human-centered design innovation and rapid concept development. This role focuses on defining, envisioning, and shaping differentiated customer experiences that empower individuals to live their best lives. You will collaborate across the organization to define "big bets" by contributing high-quality visual assets, identities, and interfaces that make complex, abstract ideas simple and tangible.
PRIMARY DUTIES
- Deliver excellence by upholding a high bar for design craft, strategic thinking, and execution.
- Define the mood, tone, look, and feel for future products and translate them into high-quality prototypes.
- Elevate visual design standards across various outputs, from consumer-facing apps to patient-journey storytelling.
- Provide thought leadership to ensure the organization stays ahead of emerging technologies and trends.
- Present and persuasively communicate design rationale to stakeholders at all levels.
- Craft engaging interfaces balancing aesthetics with usability across platforms like web, mobile, and kiosk.
- Develop strong visual identities and early-stage experiences from scratch to spark excitement and alignment.
- Connect teams to possible futures through artifacts ranging from paper sketches to polished interfaces.

REQUIRED EDUCATION
- BA/BS in Graphic Design, User Experience, Visual Communication, Digital Media, or a related field—or equivalent practical experience.
EXPERIENCE
- 7+ years of hands-on design experience in fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional portfolio spanning multiple mediums with an emphasis on interface or screen-based experiences.
- Proven track record of delivering exceptional work and contributing to great products.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Software Proficiency: Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Prototyping (Required): Demonstrated ability to prototype at multiple fidelities using tools like Figma, ProtoPie, Principle, or Framer.
- AI Integration: Hands-on experience applying AI tools (e.g., Adobe Firefly, Midjourney, Galileo AI) within a design practice.
- Legal: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without future sponsorship.
- Preferred: Motion design skills (After Effects, Lottie) and familiarity with front-end libraries/frameworks.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Regular use of hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard, mouse, and other office equipment.
- Regular, repetitive movements such as typing, mouse movements, and scrolling.
- Ability to hear and understand spoken communications, both in person and via remote communication tools.
- Ability to see and read computer screens and printed documents, as well as adjust focus.
- Prolonged periods of looking at a computer screen.

Occasionally travel for workshop.
