About the Position:
- Facilitates the deployment process as well as identifies and aids in the resolution of technical issues and problems related to terminals and pos systems.
- Review assigned orders and ticket requests via the company dashboard and Happy Fox.
- Ensures Dashboard and VAR credentials match, downloads, and programs point-of-sale hardware according to technical specifications. Equipment is tested for all available payment options set up for the merchant identification number (MID).
- Test point-of-sale devices and related peripherals to ensure programming accuracy.
- Package point-of-sale equipment in a secure and professional manner, ensuring company guidelines are met.
- Works with ISO partners and technical support to ensure escalations and expedited requests are handled before the shipping deadline.
- Labels, packs, and loads items for shipment according to specifications. Unloads deliveries of product and moves items to appropriate area.
- Maintains accurate records of all items received and shipped.
- Communicates deployment updates within deployment tickets to ensure accuracy.
- Performing specialized department support including, without limitation:
- Support specialized projects as needed as directed by the department head or supervisor.
- Communicates inventory needs with management.
- Attends periodic meetings and trainings. May provide training, coaching, and/or mentoring to subordinate team members at the direction of departmental leadership.
- Merchant returns, return equipment testing, and return inventory analysis, troubleshooting management
- Other duties as assigned.
- High school Diploma or equivalent.
- 2-3 years prior experience in Deployment or similar role such as shipping or receiving, preferably within the acquiring industry.
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
- Experience with shipping industry applications such as UPS, FED Ex, WASP, etc.
