About the Role: The Demo Engineer will play a crucial role in scaling the GTM team by building and maintaining demo environments, creating technical enablement content, and orchestrating POCs and POVs in presales. This role is responsible for helping drive revenue growth by enabling the sales team with compelling demonstrations, automated processes, and technical expertise. The ideal candidate will be a technical expert who can bridge the gap between product capabilities and sales success.
Responsibilities
- Maintain and scale demo environments for the GTM team, ensuring 100% onboarding success for new sales representatives.
- Create enablement content, including videos, scripts, and training materials to support the sales team effectiveness.
- Support technical selling for PeopleGlass high velocity team through scalable demo environments and webinars.
- Build automation tools to increase demo efficiency and reduce manual preparation time.
- Implement and manage a comprehensive POC and POV program, targeting 2 POCs per month with 80% conversion rates.
- Develop success criteria and milestone tracking for customer POC implementations.
- Ramp quickly as a product expert and serve as the go-to technical resource for demo questions.
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to roll out new product capabilities through the New Product Introduction process.
- Transition demo environments away from Production to simulated data environments for improved security and reliability.
- Build custom demos for advanced use-cases and industry verticals to support specific sales opportunities.
Requirements:
- Several years of experience n relevant GTM tech industry with proven track record of scaling demo operations..
- Expert-level proficiency in Salesforce with coding ability in Apex and experience with data analytics.
- Strong technical skills including ability to write code and implement automation solutions.
- Proven experience in demo building and enablement with measurable results.
- Experience running POC programs with demonstrated success metrics.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with Sales, Marketing, Product, and Engineering teams.
- Strong presentation and training skills with ability to create compelling enablement content.
- Experience with big data, analytics, and technical integrations.
- Growth mindset with passion for learning new technologies and optimizing processes.
- Open to feedback, willing to challenge ideas constructively, and committed to the success of People.ai.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment and solve complex technical challenges.
- Previous experience in CRM, Marketing Automation, Sales Enablement, or GTM Tech industries.
- Background working with enterprise software demonstrations and technical pre-sales.
- Experience with automation tools and process optimization in sales environments.
- Knowledge of industry verticals and ability to customize demos for specific market segments.
