Department Overview
You will play a pivotal role in driving our business success through your expertise in demand forecasting, supply planning, and inventory analysis. You will be responsible for developing and executing demand planning strategies, optimizing inventory levels, and collaborating with external parties and cross-functional teams to ensure the accurate projection of material demand. This position requires a subject matter expert with a proven track record of success in demand planning and a deep understanding of industry best practices with an emphasis on repair planning.
Job Description
Lead the demand planning process for Video Repair Operations, collaborating with product management, procurement, finance, and supply chain teams to gather and analyze data and trends.
  • Develop demand forecasts and implement statistical models to accurately project material demand for all Video Product Lines.

  • Collaborate with Product demand planning teams to align end-to-end demand planning efforts and foster strong working relationships.

  • Continuously monitor and refine forecasting methodologies, leveraging historical data, trends, and predictive analytics to improve accuracy and efficiency.

  • Collaborate with supply planning and procurement teams to optimize inventory levels, balancing supply with anticipated demand to minimize stock-outs and excess inventory.

  • Conduct regular demand planning reviews and provide insightful analysis, identifying risks, opportunities, and potential areas for improvement.

  • Drive cross-functional collaboration to ensure effective communication and alignment between Repair Operations,  demand planning, product management, finance, and supply chain teams.

  • Develop and maintain demand planning metrics and KPIs, providing regular reports and performance analysis to management.

  • Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in demand planning with an emphasis on repair, and leverage that knowledge to drive continuous improvement.

Additional Qualified Skills:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and present repair strategies with key stakeholders, cross-functional teams.

  • Proficiency in utilizing advanced Excel or Google Sheets functions.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of successfully managing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong business acumen and understanding of industry trends.

  • Forecasting and Statistical skills required.


Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree with 2+ years of planning or related experience
