Job Description

Job Summary:
The AI Learning Experience Designer is a new role that combines instructional design knowledge with merging AI capabilities in learning design, development and delivery. The individual will be responsible for creating engaging technical product training for employees, partners, and customers, and for integrating AI tools into content creation, curation, and delivery processes.

This role is ideal for a creative learning professional who enjoys working with interactive content, possesses a strong interest in leveraging emerging technologies to accelerate product readiness, and can champion scalable, AI-enabled learning strategies that directly support business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design interactive, visually engaging online training modules that explain technical concepts, product features, and role-based workflows

  • Develop multimedia learning assets including videos, animations, simulations using tools like Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud, Blender, Camtasia, and Vyond

  • Apply instructional design methodologies to ensure learning effectiveness and alignment with business needs

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and product managers to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of content

  • Integrate generative AI tools (e.g., Google Gemini, ChatGPT, NotebookLM) into learning design processes to accelerate development timelines and scale content creation

  • Structure content for reuse and retrieval through AI agents, enhancing access to performance support and role-specific knowledge

  • Curate, tag, and organize learning content to improve discoverability and support AI-powered learning experiences

  • Provide oversight and refinement of AI-generated learning content to ensure instructional quality and tone consistency

  • Contribute to the development of internal best practices for designing AI-ready learning materials

Qualifications:

  • Associate's OR Bachelor's Degree

  • 3+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or related roles

  • Experience developing online training using eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Cloud)

  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, content modularization, and task-based learning

  • Demonstrated interest in AI and experience using generative AI tools in content development or delivery

  • Ability to translate technical subject matter into engaging and effective training experiences

  • Creative and analytical mindset to address training challenges and adapt to rapidly evolving technologies

  • Strong collaboration and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders

  • Experience designing AI-driven learning tools (e.g., chatbots, conversational agents, or intelligent tutoring systems) preferred

  • Familiarity with prompt engineering, metadata tagging, or AI-integrated content delivery strategies preferred

  • Understanding of product-based training, modular content architecture, or performance support frameworks preferred

  • Experience working in a fast-paced, cross-functional learning environment preferred
