In this role, you’ll design and execute campaigns that bring in qualified leads, fuel our pipeline, and help sales close deals. You’ll work closely with smart, collaborative teammates across sales, content, and digital to launch targeted campaigns, run account-based marketing plays, and make sure every event, email, or ad has measurable impact.

This is a great fit if you’re a data-driven marketer who loves testing, iterating, and owning results—and you thrive in fast-moving environments where creativity and strategy go hand-in-hand.

What You'll Do

Demand Generation & Pipeline Growth

    • Develop and execute multi-channel campaigns (paid media, content, email, events) to generate high-quality leads.
    • Optimize nurture programs using A/B testing, behavioral data, and performance insights.

Account-Based Marketing (ABM)

    • Identify high-value accounts with sales and implement ABM strategies (1:1, 1:few, 1:many) across email, paid media, and content.
    • Leverage intent data and buyer signals to personalize engagement and maximize conversion.

Event Marketing & Lead Activation

    • Plan and execute in-person and virtual events that drive lead acquisition and brand engagement.
    • Develop pre-, during-, and post-event strategies to maximize ROI and sales follow-up.

Analytics & Optimization

    • Track key metrics (MQL to SQL conversion, pipeline impact, CAC, ROI) and continuously refine strategy.
    • Use marketing automation tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Marketo) to measure attribution and optimize campaigns.
    • Collaborate with RevOps on data-driven decision-making and reporting accuracy.

Sales Alignment & Marketing Operations

    • Ensure seamless lead handoff, tracking, and nurture optimization.
    • Partner with sales to refine targeting, messaging, and conversion strategies for maximum efficiency.

How We'll Define Success

  • Pipeline Growth – Increased MQLs, SQLs, and sales-generated revenue.
  • Campaign Performance – Higher conversion rates, lower CAC, improved ROI.
  • ABM & Event Impact – Increased engagement and revenue influence from targeted campaigns.
  • Sales Alignment – Streamlined lead handoff and strong collaboration with sales.
  • Data-Driven Optimization – Continuous campaign improvements based on testing and insights.

You’ll Be Successful in This Role if You Have/Are

  • 5+ years in demand generation, ABM, event marketing, or growth marketing (B2B SaaS, adtech, or martech preferred).
  • Proven success in executing multi-channel campaigns that drive pipeline and revenue.
  • Hands-on experience with ABM platforms (Demandbase, 6sense, Terminus) and marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
  • Strong analytical skills with experience tracking campaign performance and ROI.
  • Expertise in event marketing, including trade shows, field events, and webinars.
  • Knowledge of paid media (Google Ads, LinkedIn Ads), SEO, and content marketing.
  • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
  • A data-driven, test-and-learn mindset focused on continuous iteration and improvement.

You May Also Have

  • Experience in CTV, adtech, or digital marketing.
  • Familiarity with programmatic advertising and performance marketing.
  • Previous experience in a startup or early-stage tech environment.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
