Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Demand Generation Growth Content Manager drives the company's demand generation strategy through high-quality content. Responsibilities include developing and executing content strategies, optimizing for SEO and lead generation, and managing distribution channels. Reporting to the Director of Growth Marketing, the manager collaborates with cross-functional teams to align content with business goals and analyzes performance metrics. Additionally, the manager nurtures current client relationships to expand sales, supporting client retention and upsell opportunities. Success is measured by content engagement, lead generation, SEO performance, and ROI.

This role requires a strategic thinker with expertise in Employee Benefits and HR Consulting, including alternative funding, self-funding, benefits technology, compliance, and cost containment. The ideal candidate crafts high-value content for HR leaders, CFOs, and executives, positioning OneDigital as the go-to partner for modern workforce solutions.

Overview of Key Responsibilities:

· Develop and execute a comprehensive content strategy to support demand generation goals

· Create high-quality, engaging content across various formats (blogs, whitepapers, case studies, social media, videos, webinars, newsletters etc.)

· Optimize content for SEO and lead generation

· Nurture and grow current client relationships by managing client newsletters to ensure content supports client retention and upsell opportunities

· Ensure content is mapped to each stage of the buyer journey to drive engagement, conversion, and customer retention.

· Collaborate with cross-functional teams (sales, retention, product, brand) to align content with business objectives

· Analyze content performance and make data-driven decisions to improve engagement and conversion rates.

· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in content marketing and demand generation.

Content Strategy Development:

· Design and implement a content strategy aligned with demand generation and business growth objectives.

· Define key content themes, messaging pillars, and narratives that align with OneDigital’s brand positioning and address the needs of HR leaders, CFOs, and business decision-makers.

· Identify and prioritize target audience segments, tailoring content approaches based on vertical, role, business size, and stage of the buyer journey.

· Build and maintain an editorial calendar to ensure consistent, timely, and strategic content delivery across paid, and owned channels.

· Develop a content calendar to ensure consistent and timely delivery of content.

Content Strategy and Creation:

· Produce a variety of content types including ad copy, blog posts, whitepapers, eBooks, case studies, infographics, videos, and webinars.

· Write compelling, conversion-optimized copy that reflects OneDigital’s tone of voice and connects with executive and HR audiences.

· Lead content development processes end-to-end, including brief creation, SME coordination, interviewing, and project management.

· Act as a steward of the brand voice and tone, proactively studies and applies the company messaging, tone helping evolve messaging frameworks and ensuring consistency across content touchpoints.

· Manage webinar content from concept through post-event repurposing—including timeline management, speaker support, and promotional planning.

· Repurpose webinar content into various marketing assets to be distributed across digital channels to extend the shelf life of content library.

SEO and Lead Generation Optimization:

· Conduct keyword research to identify opportunities for organic search traffic.

· Optimize content for search engines to improve visibility and ranking.

· Implement lead generation tactics such as gated content, landing pages, and call-to-actions (CTAs) to capture leads.

Content Distribution and Promotion:

· Manage and grow content distribution channels including email newsletters, social media platforms, and the company website.

· Develop and execute promotional campaigns to amplify content reach and engagement.

· Utilize paid media strategies (e.g., PPC, social ads) to boost content visibility.

Performance Analysis and Reporting:

· Track and analyze content performance metrics such as traffic, engagement, and conversion rates.

· Use data insights to refine content strategies and improve ROI.

· Prepare regular reports to communicate content performance and impact to stakeholders.

· Prepare post-webinar reports, analyzing performance and recommending future content improvements

Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination:

· Work closely with Practice Leaders, VP of Growth and Field Marketing teams to ensure content supports lead nurturing and sales enablement.

· Partner with the product team to create content that highlights product features and benefits.

· Coordinate with the design team to produce visually appealing and on-brand content.

· Collaborate across OneDigital practice areas, including Retirement, Human Resources and more, to surface cross-functional content opportunities and build narratives that demonstrate OneDigital’s integrated value.

Industry Trends and Best Practices:

· Stay informed about the latest trends and best practices in content marketing and demand generation.

· Experiment with new content formats and distribution channels to stay ahead of the competition.

· Regularly engage with internal stakeholders—including sales, product, and subject matter experts—to surface timely insights, inform content strategy, and stay ahead of evolving client needs and industry trends.

Preferred Experience:

· 5+ years of experience in content marketing, thought leadership, or employer benefits communication.

· Deep understanding of employee benefits, including self-funding, benefits compliance, and cost-containment strategies.

· Strong editorial and storytelling skills with experience developing executive-level content for HR and finance audiences.

· Proficiency in marketing automation tools (HubSpot, Marketo), CRM systems (Salesforce), Wordpress and analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMrush, or similar).

· Experience working in professional services, financial services, insurance, or HR consulting industries preferred.

· Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

· Familiarity with AI-powered content tools or content operations platforms is a plus.

Required Capabilities:

· Exceptional writing and editing skills with the ability to create clear, concise, and engaging content tailored to a business audiences.

· Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.

· Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Comfortable taking the lead and keeping momentum; knows how to follow up with tact, drive accountability, and keep projects on track without needing to be asked.

· Proactive and collaborative approach, with a strong ability to build trusted relationships across teams and departments. Consistently seeks to understand stakeholder needs, communicate with care and clarity, and deliver solutions that make others’ jobs easier.

· Analytical skills to assess content performance and apply data-driven insights to improve outcomes.

· Basic design skills or familiarity with tools like Canva, , or similar platforms (preferred but not required).

The base pay range for this role nationwide is $75,000 to $85,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.

Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.  We also offer eligible employees health, wellbeing, retirement, and other financial benefits, paid time off, overtime pay for non-exempt employees, and robust learning and development programs.
