Demand Generation Coordinator

The Demand Generation Coordinator turns mid- and bottom-funnel marketing strategies into executed campaigns that support pipeline growth, customer retention, and expansion. This role focuses primarily on webinar execution in BigMarker and on coordinating trade shows and events in partnership with our centralized events team.

We typically run 4–5 webinars per month alongside trade shows and other events, so this role requires someone who can manage several projects at once without losing sight of deadlines or details. You’ll work across marketing, sales, and product marketing in a business with multiple products, industries, and ideal customer profiles (ICPs). The right person can understand a campaign’s goals, build a clear execution plan, coordinate the people and tools involved, and independently move the work from strategy to launch.

This remote position reports to the Director of Demand Generation.

Responsibilities

  • Own the day-to-day execution of approximately 4–5 owned webinar per month, including timelines, speaker coordination, registration setup, promotion, testing, live-event logistics, and follow-up. Plus additional ad hoc 3rd party webinars

  • Utilize BigMarker to build, manage and act as producer of webinars.

  • Execute tasks within Marketo and Salesforce to support promotion, registration, and post-event campaign activity.

  • Coordinate marketing deliverables for trade shows and events in partnership with the centralized events team, keeping stakeholders, assets, and deadlines aligned.

  • Manage multiple webinar, event, and campaign projects simultaneously in Asana; identify dependencies, flag risks early, and keep work moving.

  • Partner with demand generation managers, creative, content, digital, sales, product marketing, and other stakeholders to execute campaigns aligned with specific products, industries, and ICPs.

  • Set up, test, and deploy campaign assets and workflows in marketing tools, with close attention to accuracy and the audience experience.

  • Track campaign and event performance, support reporting, and surface opportunities to improve execution and results.

  • Maintain clear project plans and marketing calendars so stakeholders know what is needed, who owns it, and when it is due.

Technologies

  • Core tools: BigMarker, Marketo, Asana, and Salesforce

  • Additional tools used by the team: Craft CMS, PathFactory, Canto, Abacus, Claude, Teams, Microsoft Office

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

  • B2B marketing experience that demonstrates the ability to independently execute campaigns or events from planning through follow-up.

  • Strong project management skills and a track record of balancing competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

  • Confidence working in technical marketing tools; experience with BigMarker, Marketo, Asana, and Salesforce is especially valuable.

  • Ability to learn complex industries, distinguish among multiple products and ICPs, and translate campaign strategy into accurate execution.

  • Excellent communication, stakeholder coordination, and attention to detail.

  • A proactive approach: you can clarify what needs to happen, solve problems, and keep projects moving without waiting for step-by-step direction.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
