*This is a remote position that must be based in the United States in the Pacific time zone.

We’re hiring a Deal Desk Analyst reporting into our Revenue Operations organisation. You will help us build, run, and scale our deal operations globally, with a focus on North America and APAC. This involves supporting our sales teams with the operational execution of deals, helping to facilitate day-to-day operations while also shaping our longer-term processes, systems, and strategy in this area. We’re a fast-growing company, so there’s enormous scope for the person in this role to own and shape this function, and to grow and progress within the Revenue Operations team and beyond.

Our ideal candidate is highly detail-oriented, numerically literate, and very comfortable with spreadsheets. They are organised and diligent, and an excellent communicator — both verbally and in writing — as you’ll be working with a wide array of teams and levels of seniority. Finally, this is a start-up, so ideally you’re excited by the prospect of building something from the ground up alongside others who are equally energised by the opportunity.

What you will be doing:

  • Deeply understand our pricing model in order to assist in designing, approving, and reviewing deals
  • Serve as a trusted advisor and go-to resource for our sales teams and leadership on deal structure, quoting, and order form creation; advise on alternate contract options to drive deal closure
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, and Sales to facilitate, process, and execute standard and non-standard deals
  • Review in-progress and executed order forms to ensure they align with the opportunity information in Salesforce; advise Sales on proper SFDC entry and assist as needed
  • Identify and implement process and system improvements to increase the overall efficiency of deal execution
  • Multitask and prioritise effectively during periods of high volume, with schedule flexibility at month- and quarter-end
  • Help support and improve our CPQ tool, DealHub, and the associated workflows
  • Train and enable our sales organisation through engaging training sessions and first-class documentation

What you bring with you:

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, with at least 2 years in a Deal Desk role
  • Understanding of SaaS business models, subscription-based pricing, and revenue recognition principles
  • Extremely organised with a very high level of attention to detail
  • Able to prioritise and project-manage incoming tasks while keeping cool under pressure
  • A clear and thoughtful communicator when discussing and sharing sensitive data with a range of business functions
  • Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deals simultaneously for multiple stakeholders
  • Not fazed by ambiguity or uncertainty, and comfortable working in a dynamic, hyper-growth environment
  • Strong MS Excel/Google Sheets skills (required)

Target Annual Compensation: $115,000 - $130,000 salary + 10% bonus + equity

Applicants for this opportunity must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment Visa at this time.

What you need to know about the Los Angeles Tech Scene

Los Angeles is a global leader in entertainment, so it’s no surprise that many of the biggest players in streaming, digital media and game development call the city home. But the city boasts plenty of non-entertainment innovation as well, with tech companies spanning verticals like AI, fintech, e-commerce and biotech. With major universities like Caltech, UCLA, USC and the nearby UC Irvine, the city has a steady supply of top-flight tech and engineering talent — not counting the graduates flocking to Los Angeles from across the world to enjoy its beaches, culture and year-round temperate climate.

Key Facts About Los Angeles Tech

  • Number of Tech Workers: 375,800; 5.5% of overall workforce (2024 CompTIA survey)
  • Major Tech Employers: Snap, Netflix, SpaceX, Disney, Google
  • Key Industries: Artificial intelligence, adtech, media, software, game development
  • Funding Landscape: $11.6 billion in venture capital funding in 2024 (Pitchbook)
  • Notable Investors: Strong Ventures, Fifth Wall, Upfront Ventures, Mucker Capital, Kittyhawk Ventures
  • Research Centers and Universities: California Institute of Technology, UCLA, University of Southern California, UC Irvine, Pepperdine, California Institute for Immunology and Immunotherapy, Center for Quantum Science and Engineering
