Sales Operations Senior Associate, Business Intelligence

We’re looking for a Business Intelligence Senior Associate to join Snap! As a member of our Sales Operations organization, you will be responsible for partnering with our sales leaders and executives to design and implement a data and reporting strategy to ensure they are equipped with the insights they need to make informed decisions and drive revenue growth. Working from our Los Angeles headquarters, you’ll collaborate with Sales Leaders, Sales Managers, CRM Product Managers, and other Sales Operations team members to design, build and rollout efficient, scalable business insights tools and reports.
What you'll do:
Treat sales executives and leaders as your primary customer, and develop scalable visualizations that expose actionable insights to drive faster and more intelligent business decisions.
Develop and support a suite of analytics and dashboards that consistently evolve to expose new intelligence to our executive tier.
Provide macro-level insights on advertiser and revenue trends to sales executives on a regular cadence
Continually drive a deeper understanding of Snap’s business, and act as an advisor to executive stakeholders to graduate new metrics into our mainstream reporting stack
Partner with strategy teams and sales leaders to produce an analytics suite that transforms Snap into an input-driven sales culture
Partner with Product Managers from the CRM team to help design Rep and Front Line Sales Manager visualizations that tie back to what executives are consuming.
Identify gaps or confusing schemas in our backend data structure, and coordinate with CRM Tech Product Managers and Engineers to ensure they are resolved.
Lead with vision, and provide an experienced point of view on how to implement a business intelligence strategy and framework.
Measurable outputs include new dashboards for leaders and updates to those dashboards, identification of new metrics that are successfully adopted by the wider business, visualization designs for reps/FLMs that can be graduated to full support by CRM team, deprecation of ad-hoc reports used by sales teams and leaders, CSAT with executive surfaces.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Ability to understand sales as a customer, gather needs, analyze existing reports, and lead implementation of new business intelligence tools
Ability to partner with data engineering teams to translate business needs into data requirements under tight deadlines while owning relationships with a diverse set of contributors and stakeholders
Strong understanding of the data inputs required to track sales funnels and how to translate data into usable insights for sales managers and to better inform the overall sales strategy.
Exceptional design acumen and a strong focus on aesthetic presentation of complex data
Minimum Qualifications:
4+ years of experience working in an analytical role within a business context
2+ years of experience using business intelligence tools (e.g., Einstein Analytics, Tableau, Looker, or others) to build dashboards and perform data transformation from a data warehouse.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in a business, marketing, computer science, engineering or related discipline
Expertise with Salesforce CRM, specifically Einstein Analytics (Tableau CRM) and Sales Cloud
Familiarity with programmatic advertising business models and key players
Experience supporting the data needs of a large (500-1000) sales team
Ability to communicate effectively as a change agent, influencing business leadership, product/engineering, and peers to take new actions and shift the daily behaviors of a large team
Experience partnering with business and strategy teams to architect and strategize scalable data visualizations
Strong operational mindset & attention to detail; an ability to design and implement solutions at scale
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit and an ability to initiate and drive projects to completion with minimal guidance (at times in a changing environment with a high degree of ambiguity)
Commitment to strengthening sales operations processes through creativity and empathy
Experience working in the tech, media or digital advertising industry
